My guess is bribery and the corrupt nature of upstate right wing politicians contributing to this clusterfuck. Chick-Fil-A had no business at a highway rest stop, especially one that gets such high volume.

Thruway rest stops are overpriced and unhealthy. Their only benefit is convenience; there’s no faster way to stop for food/gas/pooping than one of these. So if chik-fil-a can’t offer the convenience of being open on one of the busiest days of the week, they don’t belong in these state-owned facilities.
Best episode of the season. I’d go A-. All the sketches were good to great, even the cold open. And the Weekend Update joke swap always delivers but this one was an all timer.
This is why school lunches should be universally free.
Assholes do, since 53% found they can lower a worker’s pay to the point that (depending on the state) it may result in a loss of money to the worker.
For that much money, you could go to an actual restaurant for breakfast instead of a real estate investment that serves bad food.
I can’t help but think this is a stealth McD’s advertising campaign: Spend almost nothing on their part to get a bunch of people to buy more food than they would otherwise buy.
And as such, that’s exactly the kind of case that class-actions are best-suited for: one where any given individual harm is so small that the company figures no one is going to feel it’s worth complaining about their deceptive actions. A big part of the point of class-actions is to be punitive in order to dissuade…
“We are extremely sorry to have thought that these letters would never become public.”
Maybe it’s just me, but that so-called ‘apology’ sure AF comes off as more like they were seriously pissed off having to make it and doesn’t seem sincere at all. Their nice little speech sounds nothing like empathy and more like it’s based in anger. Anger that it got too hot for them and that they had to retract their…
I don’t disagree, but I am always shocked at just how many people have difficulty showing up for work on time. Or sometimes at all. The old adage that “80% of success in life is just showing up” is surprisingly accurate because a lot of people can't seem to manage even that.
The apology itself boils down to “hey, we’re sorry you found about this. It was never our intention that anyone would find out we were vouching for this rapist. We thought we could get him a reduced sentence without you or the victims noticing, and we deeply regret that it hasn’t played out that way.” I buy that…
The pronunciation was a toothache level pain for me. TACK-HOES—after Hollywood was with Marcela Valladolid, I am sure the word came up at some point for reference.
The jokes were bad, but the lack of giving any shits about the non-European cultures they featured is what gets me. Just a little bit of research could have brought some really fun and interesting challenges. Instead we get fucking tacos for Mexican week because the clods running this show can’t be bothered to even do…
This thing costs twice as much as an Egg McMuffin and somehow the egg looks like a worse cook. Not... not great.
If you can't walk to the counter and get the deal, then it's not a deal.
I pay for restaurant food while I’m out eating, if all the people completely disappeared it would only make the experience better.
But how many students are going to be searching for a college that would not accept their actual score?
Yeah you totally want your security guards giving their phone numbers out to a bunch of potentially underage girls on the job. That’s totally professional and certainly doesn’t reflect poorly on the company contracted to do this job.
I understand why the cheapest fast food restaurants are going towards an automat format, and I would image Taco Bell will still have a backup cash option like the updated McDonalds’ do. But whenever upscale fast food chains like Cava and sweetgreen go cashless, it reeks of ulterior motives.
