Also, the Shining homage was hilarious. They knew what they were doing when they gave Petra twins.

The music when Jane gave Alba her present was already enough for me to know what it was going to be. That it shed a petal during Jalba’s (Alborge’s?) makeout session was a cherry on top.

Mateo’s line to Louisa, “Are you my aunt Louisa - the one who made me get born?” was fantastic.

To be honest, I’m kind of getting tired of the Rose schemes myself, but I understand it’s important to the genre. Just when we’d thought Poor Luisa AND Rafael were going to catch a break. I did notice quite a few callbacks to both the pilot and Jane and Michael’s wedding and wedding planning. I feel it showed the

yeah, i don’t take aaron as competition for eve to v, either.  aaron has nothing v wants.

Just for anyone who needed to hear this today, alcohol is not responsible for your partner’s shitty abusive behavior. I had too much to drink hosting a bachelorette this weekend (safely at home), and my instinct was to wash the dishes and clean the kitchen. (Not very successfully, but the point stands.)

Putting “Italian ice” in the headline of this article is an affront to Philadelphia and I won’t stand for it. Wooder ice forever!

That’s usually how it is these days. High concept shows blow their load in the first season because there’s no guarantee they’ll get another.

All of them, if you’ve watched a recent interview.

Brienne should have been able to start a new page with her own name at the top. Finishing Jaime’s story was... nice, but she deserved to start her own.

Is anybody really arguing that Mike Trout isn’t a statistical marvel by just about any measure? He has an OBP north of .450, SLG above .550 and walks more than he strikes out. He has 6 SB with one CS and 11 HR in 149 AB. None of those are really advanced stats. OBP and Slugging have been around for 40 years now.

Carly Rae Jepsen is MAYBE ok but she’s no (unrelated artist)! Remember when music was real? I’m too smart for pop but I reviewed this pop album anyway.

I think part of the issue that the Arrowverse writers tend to bring in characters whose main reason for existing mostly to be love interests. As opposed to Alex/Maggie or Nia/Brainy where both characters have/had a role on the show outside of the relationship.

Now playing

You: never once, to my knowledge has spelled it out as easily as the Jets: “I’ve got a crush on you.”

Once again, you find a way to turn an album review about a female artist into an unnecessarily long and self-indulgent existential crisis piece that eventually winds up belittling the work of the female artist. Bjork, Christina Aguilera, Carly Rae Jepsen, etc., etc.

I don’t know how an ethical producer or showrunner could subject their female crew members to that sort of draconian legislation when they could just film someplace run by people who don’t hate women instead.

So she had to leave her job while he kept his? Wow. And his agency dumped him as well. That’s all Chi wrote for his career.

That was delightful! My one quibble was not seeing the full heist. I would have been happy for an entire extra episode of Mick pulling a heist of the book. I also wondered why they still needed it after Nora got back. Couldn’t Gary have just wished for Hey World at that point?

People are going about this all wrong. FIFA is perfectly happy to accommodate any special requests as long as the bribe is big enough.

I love the implication that Sara has some issues with Kara/ Supergirl, who she sees as a more beloved and trusted superhero, and who she is now cosplaying as. Oh and also she slept with her sister
