yes, it was also badass for Harbinger

I do like some of the response points people made about what they might be setting up for Old Man Oliver.

it’s the type of emotional batshittery you learn growing up with Lillian Luthor but desperately need to unlearn to be a healthy adult.

yes, very much that too!

Lord, I love Imogene.

remember how upset Abe was in the first season because Joel’s parents evicted Midge from the apartment she hadn’t realized was theirs in the first place? kind of funny to see that dynamic reversed with his wife’s trust fund in his own marriage.

The are-you-fucking-kidding-me tone she takes about being begged to save the earth’s population...like, even if she weren’t still convinced her own motives were pure, she’d be offended at the implied stupidity of not trying to rescue her own planet.

-Like the “in the beginning” voiceover. Reminds me of the Bible and sets a nice tone for an epic.

yeah, that’s why the murder happened.

since when do we have limited series comedies?

HI GENEVA PINE

oh, sure. maybe far enough to ask her alter ego to join in some superheroics, not far enough to disclose her secret identity (because Andrea would definitely print it for clicks)

Hmmm. not sure I want to deal with the obligatory somebody-threatened-Eliza drama that would follow.

Yeah, I was glad we got those Kara+Alex scenes. Re: the Sam Arias thing, of course it looks suspicious to the head of the DEO, but didn’t we (audience) see Sam consent to those experiments to get rid of her blackouts? What Lena did there is pretty similar to what Kara got Alex to authorize with Malefak trying to save

I don’t think so? I don’t remember a spark of recognition, and I don’t think Kara saw the backstory with Lena and Andrea either, since Lena has been so pissed at her.

Crows stuff would make the most sense. Maybe even butting heads and being mentored by Jacob if they want to argue over the purpose of their expensive private security force.

I’m sure it’ll come up in the future.

I wonder if there is a way via super slow-burn. Let Sophie work on herself, come out, date a woman who isn’t Kate, then see what happens two or three seasons down the line.
