I guess they could go the realist route and have her get crushed by a zillionaire who’s actually been involved with community boards/worked in politics before.

I am leaning hard into the idea that they wouldn’t kill off Jane/Xo/Alba. the amount of sickness makeup they’ve had on Navedo this season is pretty scary.

ditto on being glad Otis is still around. the whole explosion/resurrection was really effective horror to me, too.

-The close calls between Eve and Villanelle are driving me nuts. Eve! She was right behind you! She was right down the walk! For somebody being hunted by an assassin she stabbed she has 0 sense of her surroundings.

I went for the end of S2 on TGW, but if I were going for S5 I’d use “A Few Words”/ “Dramatics Your Honor”/ “The Last Call”. we get Alicia’s introspection and a hope spot to the end of her war with Will before they drop the damn hammer.

the end of The Good Wife’s second season, “In Sickness”/ “Getting Off”/ “Closing Arguments”, in which we get Alicia’s confrontations with Kalinda and Peter, Peter’s return to politics, visits from Patti Nyholm and Nancy Crozier, a judgekiller’s trial, and Will/Alicia.

it’s an interesting parallel between Alba/Jorge and Jane/Raf. the second time Alba turned him down was SO painful, and it’s hard to see how Jorge could ever believe she’s over Mateo Sr. enough to marry him after those two. and now Raf’s worry of being the dead husband backup plan is back.

I would be cool with a more interesting recast if the rest of the MCU shows were still around.

having Magda right there insulting Petra to their faces could only help win JR back- it let JR see just what level of crazy Petra had come from and how far she’d come already.

-Seeing Xo collapse was so upsetting! Glad it was “just” overexertion after her treatment and not worse cancer.
