For the US, the Lancia Scorpion (known as the Monte Carlo in Europe). Over nine or so years, about a thousand (?) made it to North America. It evolved into the Lancia Rally 037, which took the WRC 1983 title.

Grew up in the 80s.  Even had a friend with an 84.  It didn’t survive the Las Vegas heat very well.

Yes. (as in all of the above).

The Lucid is very slippery, their motors are known to be very efficient, and a 118 kWh battery is pretty darn beefy (not sure about battery efficiency, though, but I assume it can’t be bad for the numbers its throwing out).

Conversely, we can still put a smaller battery in the same vehicle and run an easy 200+ miles with 500+ lbs saved, aka still way way way more miles than the vast majority of folks drive in a single day.

Also, the Lucid Air GT in its current form weighs no more than a Chevy Tahoe, of which there are hundreds of

4.44 miles per kw at 70 mph is great efficiency!

Yeah, that huge battery (118 kWh) is about half the size of the Hummer EV / Chevy Silverado EV battery and contains the same amount of energy as 3.5 gallons of gasoline and just knocked out 523 miles on a charge at highway speeds.  Your point?

The base model starts at $69,900. Are you surprised that a bleeding-edge tech luxury car is $111,000?

4.44 miles per kW. Efficiency through good aerodynamics and efficient electrics.

A little of that, but primarily good aerodynamics. This isn’t some brick of a high riding suv trying to cut through the air.

Can’t wait for the EV naysayers/climate denialist excuses on why this is a bad thing.

Allow me to translate what Rhodes wants to accomplish. He wants to bring Chrysler back to a time of mediocrity, a time when the domestics got their asses handed to them by the imports, for putting out junk. And here we are, in the early 21st century, with them primarily becoming a truck and agricultural vehicle

So I could get popped for a walking path of similar proportions if I didn’t pull permits? I’m at about 1/5 or 1/6 of that track’s total length and material make up.

That’s nothing. The Greater Los Angeles area is 33,954 square miles.  Talk about seriously spread out.  Trucks?  The ports of LA and Long Beach are right there, supporting the majority of the country.

Why does every Jeep owner want to look angry going down the road? Instant turn off.

I have it on the highest authority the modulation frequency can be calculated by the following equation:  C/555 X 10 ^ -9.

A few years ago, I went to a classic car show and saw a guy wiping down his brand-new Mustang. It still had the temp tags on it. Ridiculous.

My 10 year old Fiat 500e was performing flawlessly with over 115k miles on the clock until a newly licensed kid destroyed it two weeks ago.

First gear: Other’s have pointed out the tax rebate loop hole.

It wouldn’t be Texas if they weren’t doing the single most wasteful regressive thing possible. Encouraging more traffic and pollution to own the libs.

Thanks jebus I was able to escape that wretched hellhole.
