Hurricane warning last week. Plenty of time to do anything about it. No excuses.

There’s a lot of stupid in Florida. Remember, it’s prime MAGA country, and MAGA loves to run around talking about how the government does nothing but lie to them. So when the government tells them to get the fuck out of town because the hurricane’s gonna be really bad, the response is often “fuck you, I’m staying.”…
Basically your post regurgitates the same old conservative bullshit excuses.
It’s not just masculine dudes and trucks. The giant SUV’s suburban families think they need to haul their 1-2 kids around in is insane, and I live in metro boston where it’s actively annoying to deal with a car that big.
1. If they’re making noise, you’re going in the right direction as far as decisions.
Ego and image play a massive role, otherwise minivans would be more popular.
Too many guy’s masculinity hinges on whether they have a gas guzzling (or coal-rolling) pickup truck. It’s pathetic, and I don’t see that changing any time soon.
How a gas station pump handle works. Better late than never, without the need to view one as a future museum display.
You can either help in the matter, or keep complaining about it. Help, or get out of the way.
No, we don’t. We need less of an addiction and reliance on a volatile globally traded product that does little for energy independence and security.
And? It seems when they almost caused their highly unregulated grid, which caters to deep pocketing middlemen, to fail and screw the general public. You can’t make them look good in any light.
I think you and Azlefit hit the nail on the head. With most industries post pandemic, we’re dealing with artificial scarcity. Why lose profits with more choices when you can limit what is produced, with less employees, and make stellar profits? Human greed knows no bounds but of course, there won’t be any legislation…
The interesting thing about the Nikola stuff is yes, he mislead investors but they have working electric semis in service at the port of Los Angeles. They are also developing hydrogen Semis for long haul. Its a company on the brink of massive success saddled with the mistakes this guy made.
Sounds like farm equipment. We’re talking sports cars here.
Interceptor? No. This is a high riding, overweight farm/work vehicle. Mad Max wants a word with you if you call this an ‘interceptor’.
Another tax avoidance scheme.
Yeah, who wants nice roads in their area?
Yeah, used to work with someone whose husband would register their vehicles in Montana where he had some land so they could avoid Virginia taxes, you know the ones that pay for the upkeep of the roads that they drive on every day.....
Not very honest reporting.
Was the victim or suspect actually a direct employee of GM? The story reads like they were employees of a contractor doing custodial work at the plant. If that is indeed the case, the use of a the lead photo with the jacket featuring the UAW and GM logo is very misleading and should be corrected.
