But unfortunately the natural gas producing provinces and states are rushing to make dirty hydrogen first.

As a Quebecker where we have high hydroelectricity resources (thus somewhat cheap electrolysis) am all for green hydrogen.

No kidding.  Enough ‘resources’ here wasted that could have made several sensible vehicles.  

And it won’t turn or stop as well as a sports car. That’s bad for your health.

I don't know, the idea of a car that fast, with crash structures that high, weighing fully twice what an f150 does is a bit scary to me.

I don’t hate it, and I’d much rather see one of these than a diesel F-350. But I’d really rather the huge battery this thing has be used to build three more sensible vehicles. Batteries are the big constraint in developing more affordable (and just plain more) EVs. 

It’s the mass / weight. Vehicles are getting bigger and heavier and more dangerous to just about everyone else on the road (or next to it). That most of these will be used a grocery getters is atrocious for the amount of resources going into it.

Each Hummer EV has enough battery capacity to power what, 3 Bolts?

I agree you on this one, Andy. This is a fucking stupid and recklessly dangerous vehicle. 

Minivans are far better than SUVs as a family vehicle. 

Revs are better than outright speed. I’d rather enjoy some revs and go slowly than be hauling ass with a low-revver.
