CARB was the only thing standing in the way of the Trump regime and the damage they could have bestowed upon the world. Be grateful.

Manchild and his family directly own a coal company. Several, in fact.

Which is all the more reason to shut them down.

Technically, the governor owns the coal in WV, and he owns manchin, who likely secretly also owns a sizeable chunk of coal. So you're not wrong.

Nope. The footprint rule still exists. The bigger the footprint, the lower the requirements for fuel economy.

The coal-burning power plants in WV are owned by the same people that own Joe Manchin.

Dang. I was hoping that the EPA had suddenly woken up to the critical and immediate need to shut down the waste-coal burning power plants in West Virginia that happen to be Joe Manchin’s customers.

So does this actually apply to trucks and SUVs now instead of fucking everyone else?

Are they going to bring light trucks fuel economy standards to parity with passenger cars?

Hopefully they’ll stop giving SUVs, CUVs, and pickups a pass.

I test every other day, and one of three in the office who are either unvaccinated or are now classified as undervaccinated (single dose); we are the only ones who didn’t catch it. Just an interesting data point to ponder.

I think Donald should be hung for war crimes. That may be too much for your feeble binary brain but that’s what happens when you have zero interest in science and appeal to authority for every thought you have.

Are you accusing newname of being a token...white? WTF are you even talking about?

A goddamn advertisement masquerading as an article.

It’s no one’s cup of tea, obviously culminating in that southern hillbilly white trash music killing your car. Even our fledgling ’on the road to AI’ devices couldn’t deal with it.

Way too big of a vehicle, for anywhere in Europe. And wouldn’t smaller EVs be more efficient overall, in terms of initial raw materials and energy used in production, not even considering the extra energy to move a larger/heavier vehicle’s fat ass during its service lifetime.

You’re right. Love my 500e. Flawless at 80K miles, with none of the Leafs battery degradation issues.  And it handles pretty well in the curves.

I bet even as Fiat 500e owners they have zero intention of ever going back to buying an ICE car again and mindlessly buying gas. Once you’ve liberated yourself from the lifelong pump habit , you’re done with it.

I have two colleagues who have 500e’s (one sold his and bought a Bolt, but I digress.)
