It’s a Hyundai.   Too consumerish, too mass produced, too boring

The Alfa Busso V6 always makes these surveys. It sounds great, looks great, and does wonderful things.

Luckily I’m not a fat old fart, and I appreciate a vehicle that doesn’t handle like the Exxon Valdez.  So I’ll take that perfectly sized Euro box.

I’m willing to pay for quality and performance, are you?

It’s right there in plain English. They made the decision to sell the public a lesser capable product, ‘just to be different’. And people bought them. Fools and their money.

Betamax? Is your criteria for success simply centered on commercial success and not technological or scientific advancements or performance? With that thinking, we can throw in the polio vaccine, which was freely given out by Dr. Salk for humanity’s use with no commercial strings attached, saving a few dozen million

Hurricane warning last week.  Plenty of time to do anything about it. No excuses.

Roughly 18 million car sales a year (Covid aside), with about 2 million in California alone. Add New York on board, and you just accounted for well over 15% of all total sales. Worked in retail for awhile. People I knew in the women’s department would get returns on women’s evening dresses (with tag still attached) a few days after purchase, mostly after a weekend. The dress would come with a bonus of a wine stain or similar, after being used at a wedding or other large function.

How a gas station pump handle works.  Better late than never, without the need to view one as a future museum display.

That already was a TV show when I was a kid.  Salvage 1.

You can either help in the matter, or keep complaining about it.  Help, or get out of the way.

No, we don’t. We need less of an addiction and reliance on a volatile globally traded product that does little for energy independence and security.

And? It seems when they almost caused their highly unregulated grid, which caters to deep pocketing middlemen, to fail and screw the general public.  You can’t make them look good in any light.
