There’s national pride, and there’s extreme nationalism. As a point of history, the latter lead to a group of individuals believing they were better than others (nationally, ethnically, genetically) and a pretty big war.  And yes, history does repeat itself.

Good. Anyone who still makes cars (real cars, not farm equipment) will get a look from me.

Stop spamming the site with those alt-facts sites.

Nonsense.

Since when is the call for justice in the murder of an innocent political?

Stones?  The old Fred Flintstone measurement unit.  Haven’t heard that in years.

I don’t know about German ME’s, but a optical imaging project I worked on in the late 90s with a German subsidiary became a two month pain in the ass for myself and my engineering group. There’s great design, intertwined with KISS*, and then there’s making it bloody complicated for complications sake.

Perhaps the mass is there to quench a natural frequency from setting up a larger and larger standing wave, with non-comfort considerations being the impetus for the design feature.

Jalopnik needs a ban button, or a downvote into the lower levels of hell for stupidity, like other websites.

They’re so dead.

And Canada.

The problem with Texas it is it’s full of Texans. Oh, and fundamentalist Christians. They’re assholes.

Conservatives will always find something to whine about on California.  If Jesus himself was to come back and settle there, they would take offense with that as well.

The Lancia S4 was both supercharged and turbocharged, and it was built, and won races. Even crazier was their new design for an opposing intake/exhaust valve head on an inline four, which gave equal equal exhaust on both sides of the engine, allowing a inline four to run turbos on both sides.  Spec’d somewhere north

What’s Chinese business and regulation policy have to do with it.  That’s all on them.  They are free to clean up their act like we did, and reap the benefits.

You just can’t chuck 3 gallons of electrolyte into a tub and call it a battery. Batteries don’t scale that way.

I’m sure the engineers already looked at it, but I want to see the data on the internal battery case flow characteristics of the one input/one output coolant points and how they dealt with any thermal gradients that popped up with perimeter battery locations in the system. I have a potential use in optical  equipment

The waste of skin orange SOB?

Fucking refrigerator reliability. No comparisons if you’re a cheap SOB who likes to keep their wallet closed. Just none.

Hill climbs are very popular in the mountainous north of Italy.  Lucky enough to be touring there in the late 90s and came upon one. The GF at the time wasn’t pleased about the unscheduled stop.  Hey, we can’t go anywhere, the roads are closed.
