Without Mike, it was all:

AAAHHH! My spirit animal has returned! I love you Mike! Your strength and willpower is an unprecedented and admirable quality that I can only hope to one day come close to matching.

Welcome back, Fahey. I’m absolutely certain my usual bloviations wouldn’t do what I want to say justice, so I’ll just say this:

You’ve been missed, sincerely, the entire time you’ve been away, and this community did not feel whole without you. You’re a goddamned boss for clawing your way back from what you suffered,

On the contrary, with a code base that old every patch is going to more difficult to release cleanly than the one before.

Kotaku had an article about a week or two about fixing the pro controller. If you don’t want to take it apart, new controllers (ie: not ones purchased at launch) don’t have the problem.

And this is just a piece of fabric…

George stayed in OKC. DeAndre Jordan signed in Dallas. Paul reupped in Houston. The only possible takeaway is NO ONE WANTS TO PLAY WITH LEBRON.

I had the opposite experience.

I feel it’s more on HOW you decide to play Breath of the Wild. As speedrunners have proven, you CAN beat the game in less than an hour, but it’s what you WANT to put into it, not what you HAVE to put into it. If you wanna run around finding korok seeds for 400 hours you can, if you want to find all of the story

I’ve had similar experiences, but at least with Breath of the Wild, the endgame was right there, ready and waiting for me whenever I wanted to hit it. So when I got to that point of starting to feel bored with the game, having done everything I wanted to do, I pointed myself at the castle and finished it off. Which is

Was the original thumbnail of them looking at each other not getting enough clicks for Kotaku?

I said this elsewhere, and I’ll say it here.

This seems to be the exact oppostie of what you’re suggesting - this seems to be a ground-up reinterpretation of the game, not a new coat of paint and some extras.

Uh, if you found yourself shooting waves of bullet sponges like the old Uncharted games, you were doing something wrong.

I never understood what the definition of “selfish” and “unselfish” is in baseball other than a “selfish” player will flip their bat after hitting a home run while an “unselfish” player gently puts his bat down and runs very quickly around the bases so as to not endanger the Unwritten Rules of Baseball

I can’t believe it but that completely killed my excitement for this game. That looked pretty boring honestly.
