That's kind of how I feel. I mean I understand shooting in a place where it's cheaper to shoot. It's why so many shows film in Canada and use it as a stand in for the US. But when you start changing the story and plot it seems a little... counter productive.

Also not sure if it's significant but there was a sea lion hanging from the rear view mirror in the car. I was looking to see if there was other things in the car that was reminiscent of the cards they show during commercials, maybe it had some significance.

Well Sorry I couldn't help make it easier.

It didn't remind me of Drive all that much. The portrayal of violence maybe but I hated Drive and loved Looper so maybe I'm just not seeing it because I'm not looking that hard.

I loathed Drive with the kind of furious passion I generally reseved for split peas but I loved Looper. I also loved the director's previous movie Brick.

Man when he's in he's in. He was brilliant in the Enslaved: Odyssey to the West video game too.

I've actually given some thought to writing a story from a lonely space traveler but I'd have to actually stop being lazy to bother writing anything. I think it could be excellent.

How much are Twizzlers to import? Where do you get them from?

Neither was the knives. One of them was worth around $300-400.

Yes the French Miniball pretty much changed everything.

I just read it again recently and immediately thought of it when I read this article.

Gully Foyle is my name and Terra is my nation. Deep space is my dwelling place the stars my destination

That trailer actually freaked me out a little.

I was kind of wondering that too. Also with a call to the realtor to go get a new house immediately.

Because 747s and 737s are aerodynamically stable. If the engines cut out they would glide. Under normal circumstances if the engines cut out and you still had ability to control the flight surfaces you'd be able to keep it in the air for quite a while. Assuming the worst case and the magic voodoo that knocked out all

Yeah that and how the lights all shut off in perfect order, like a wave rolling out.

I watched it on Hulu last night. It might seem nitpicky but 747s would not fall out of the sky like that. Even without electricity, engines, etc the design is stable, they would keep gliding for a while. It would be more like a slow but uncontrolled descent at a steep angle into the ground, not spinning like a top

I've been rewatching The West Wing on Amazon and I noticed this too. In my head I like to pretend he's the same character.

*sigh* So sad.

Wasn't the origional sort of sci-fi? This movie looks basically like Expendables the Jean-Claude Van Damme edition.
