Yes it is. Problem with Bungie using the azure servers would be no cross platform parity. Thats a problem for a dev thats partnered with the competition.

If you hadn’t noticed. Sony has a partnership with Bungie. So yes, dedicated azure servers ARE the XB1 multiplayer way forward.

My theory is that Bungie actually updated the connection bars to show as green 98% of the time to try to mask lag problem. This game has turned out to be such a joke.
