We are making a curry with tomatillos, cauliflower, and carrots. The tomatillo addition is our experiment for the weekend, and they have to be used. Here’s hoping they mix well with coconut milk.

You are 100% correct. We have a saying at my middle school in regards to some of our students who need more guidance than others: They are going to make fabulous adults some day, and that’s why we’re doing this.

I feel you. One of my 8th graders just got back from a week long suspension for purchasing drugs at school. This girl has so much potential, and it’s frustrating watching her make the choices she’s making.

I totally do that with fajitas/burritos/etc. I only do that with pizzas if the crust is super flimsy.

Me, too! I blame my having worked in restaurants where restroom checks were part of our shift duties.

The parents of a good friend of mine decided years ago to get rid of their large kitchen trashcan for this reason. They have one of those tiny bathroom-style bins that fits a standard plastic grocery bag. The bag goes out after every meal prep.
