It’s the whatever radio station my kids pick out to stream during class work time. They don’t like it when I torture them with 80s/90s hits.

Not everyone is cut out for Bieber hair, unfortunately.

Now, is he more unbearable because of Taylor Swift or in spite of her?

That’s a perfect description.

His hair seems to be finely textured, too, so the wispy nature of it isn’t hiding much.

Good question! And what happens if he starts balding?

He seems like an absolutely lovely man, but his music does nothing for me. He’s in the same category as Dave Matthews for me - I’ll sing along, but it’s not something I’d buy.

He’s in the same league as Jack Johnson for me music-wise; I hear it on the radio, but don’t really pay attention to it. My dislike is purely superficial - what’s with the comb forward?

I drank unholy amounts of regular Leinenkugel’s back in the day (and in the summers that I traipse back to IA/MN). I’ll admit to partaking in my fair share of Berryweiss back in the day, too, but I just can’t with most fruit beers now. Plain Leinies all the way.

My grocery store is stocking a normal, non-fruity Leinies beer! I realize it’s not the most exciting brand compared to all of my Oregon beers, but I’m enjoying my bottle of nostalgia.

Danica was one of child stars who came to mind, but I want to read about the Conrad Hiltons or the Chet Hazes doing something other than acting/modeling/celebrity tomfoolery that I usually read about.

This makes me wonder what will happen to Selena Gomez.

It helps her look good in a swimsuit? Yeah, I have nothing.

True. It’d just be nice to read a feel-good story about some celebrity kid instead of a story about how they’ve gone on to join the bling ring.

Hey, now, designing socks is very time consuming and labor intensive.

You’re probably correct. I think I just want a feel good story in People about how someone’s kid is now a preschool teacher in Lincoln, NE.

For some reason I think that’s pretty neat. It seems like it would be so easy to stay in the Hollywood comfort zone.

Or look at Mayim Bialik or Danica McKellar. A PhD is nothing to sniff at.

I think Kourtney is the only one who went off to college and actually earned a degree, so kudos to her. I just seems like a lot of Hollywood kids follow in mom/dad’s footsteps.

I’m a tail-end Gen-Xer myself, so I’m thinking of Ralph from Christmas Story or Chunk from Goonies as child actors who went on to do other things. Then I got to thinking about how it different it would be if Paris Jackson became a college professor or something. Clearly I need more sleep and less Dayquil.
