Any gardeners out there? My rosemary plant is looking super sad. I’ve had it inside for a few months because Oregon is rainy. I haven’t over watered it, but it just looks sad. Should I trim it back? It does have some new growth, but not much. Rosemary is the one plant that I manage to kill every 2-3 years.

Oh, lordy. I teach in a rural school district in Oregon. Most of my students fish, hunt, or both. It’s a great way to learn about animals, outdoors sportsmanship, and build relationships with whomever takes you hunting. My ladies who hunt are always so proud of their deer/elk/ducks/geese, and I’m impressed they get up

I’m three beers in, and it didn’t help.

Is he wearing Spanx, or is that just poofed out saddle bag fat?

Hey, you could also move to Remote, OR. Although, it’s not really too remote since it’s between Roseburg and the coast.

She sounds like my husband when we were in college. His mom made the mistake of going to a thrift store to buy two full sets of plates. Yeah, he’d dirty all of them up in addition to all of his pots and pans, and then they’d just sit there while he broke out the paper plates. You couldn’t even see the counter in his

Yup.

Ugh. My math department buddies and I are grossed out by the whole thing. He’s 40; she’s not. He only got a couple of years due to the laws in my state.

That’d only be useful if there was something worth hitting.

I hear you. I found our recently that a guy I went to undergrad and grad school with is in prison for having an improper relationship with one of his high school students. My brain has lots of thoughts and many more questions...

Yes! His whole face looks pinched in proportion to the size of his head.

Now this is truly inspired. Well done.

That picture makes me wish phrenology was still a thing.

Your comment along with your username is making me imagine things I didn’t want to imagine. Thanks?

I wish I was as eloquent as my friend. She has a knack for cutting out the BS and getting to the heart of the matter.

An old friend of mine reposted this on her Facebook page for Tet. Beautiful words from a beautiful lady inside and out. Enjoy.

I’ve taken to reporting people on my feed (friends and family alike) to Facebook for overt racism. Will Facebook do anything? Probably not. Is it petty on my part? Probably, since I could confront them. Do I feel a bit better after clicking send? You better believe it. Passive aggression for the win.

I was reminded a little bit ago that today is the 21st anniversary of the Challenger shuttle explosion. My second grade class and another grade were all gathered together to watch live in our classroom. We all knew that there was a teacher on board, and second grade me thought that was cool because my mom, my grandma,

No, that’s more like a human centipede.

I went down quite the bear den after watching this, but I couldn’t bring myself to listen to the audio of the actual attack. I don’t want to even imagine what it sounds like.
