"Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill (yay) musical (oh) is coming in 2018 with help from Diablo Cody (kill me)"

Which reminds me of Richard Beckinsale. Only 31

In theory yes but Cooper absolutely hated that people expected him to be funny all the time and wouldn't ever take him seriously. In that respect, it's an awful way to die.

Kathryn Joosten did of course die only 3 weeks after her Desperate Housewives character.

Yeah they'd decided they were finished after Season 3. I believe (and Wikipedia may correct me on this) that he died on Boxing Day (26/12). He lived not far from me.

Pneumonia. 16 years later it was still going.

The female body horror is still prominent in Prometheus, it's just joined by a kind of male, psychological horror. Absent fathers, abandoned children etc. I liked Prometheus, it had ideas (that it could/should never answer) and I wanted the themes explored further. Instead they've just been abandoned like they don't

Really didn't enjoy it. I hate when filmakers go out of their way to quickly dismiss what's gone before. It's disrespectful and it breaks the strands that connect all these films together for Covenant to just say "Shaw? Engineers? Fuck 'em".

    Yes, yes it is.

    I don't control the remote.

6 seasons? Shit, it's only just started broadcasting over here. I'm gonna have to put up with this crap for years.

Rachel was a surprise replicant? Its stated in the first 20 minutes what she is. I can't agree with your analysis of the replicants either, they all demonstrate strong feelings, even if they deal with them with the sociopathy of teenagers.
That's what the film is to me, that the replicants are human in everything but

I'm a little fuzzy on the start but

Look at that title picture. Ryan being all cool and some old guy in a t-shirt has just wandered in off the street looking for soup. The less Ford is in this, the better.

The thing is that in the Directors Cut it's as clear as day that he's a replicant, and the film is better for it. I'm going to be extremely unhappy if they try to change it.

I'd be a lot happier with this if Ford wasn't involved. Anything that interferes with or rewrites the original is not welcome.

I was watching that thinking "Wow, they really look alike. Are they the same person?"

5 years? Did they run out of Beach Boys songs to copy?

A major theme of this entire show, and especially this episode, is on philosophical absurdism and that looking for answers in a universe that doesn't give a fuck about giving them to you, is the cause of your suffering.
What I love about that moment is that it's almost a cruel joke on Gloria. For all her effort, she

Ms. Schnur and Zeke works. I remember a scene, I think in Mid-Day Run, where he runs into her smoking on school grounds and, though he doesn't understand why, manages to freak her out until she leaves by asking her for one.
