I bet an iphone 4 would last about 3 seconds under these circumstances.

@Strider-No.9: so true, like they don't want to insult him so he'll reply to their emails.

@tidymaze: totally- I called apple to see if I could revert back to iOS3 and they said its not possible. Steve just wanted to slow us all down so we buy 4's....

@yellobutt: Um, multiple grammatical errors here....

So basically if I do something stupid to destroy my iphone Gizmodo will post it?

@DigitalSciGuy: Obviously people drop their phones. They also sometimes drop their kids, but I don't see anyone doing that on purpose just to see the result. I think you have taken this all too literally. It is, in fact, dumb as a general consumer, to drop a $200 piece of technology just to see when it will break.

@Chernobyl: Its all about the Hamiltons baby.

@TangoTL: I applaud them for doing it to get their little website or whatever the fuck they were promoting some attention, but you just know people will do this for free for no other reason than being morons.

@orca9999: I meant for non-safety reasons and not for people trying to kill themselves- fyi

Can you imagine if people did this with anything else? Maybe drive brand new cars like crazy and crash them into trees "just to see what happens"?

I know- this is getting absurd

Dear Chad (update #2 writer),

Its a PHONE people, not a family heirloom. I mean, really. Spend the $10 and get an invisishield or just get over it already.

@tenazrael: hoping iphone64G has separate alarm volume... one can dream, right? Maybe we'll have to wait for the 64GS?

Dear CNET, thank you for mentioning the "iphone wobble". Something that no one on earth has ever noticed or cared about. Regards,

@That_was_totally_Batman: Ha! Isn't USA today written for people with a 7th grade education level? They should never be quoted in anything.

@tucker augie'ben'doggy: totally. I ran a "non-scientific" test between my 3G and my buddy's 3GS with the map app- mine was a snail in comparison. the 4 has 4x memory of the 3G- Now I wait for the white one to be available....

I am pissed they still haven't made a separate alarm volume.

I have a 3G and downloaded 4.0 earlier today and honestly, not to impressed with the changes. Folders are fine and I guess the new mail service is better, but the camera zoom is a joke. I can't tell if anything else is different.
