Because the site is in excellent shape

damn, brah

I know that felt like a blow to a lot of readers.

Because the site is in excellent shape, because we have a great staff who are more than capable of maintaining Jalopnik’s place at the top of its competitive set and growing it from there, we were all able to send them off without concern for the site’s future.

More turnovers than The Takeout. Sigh.

Ah. So the Bugatti drive was the quintessential “going out with a bang.”

You sell shit ass Kias.   The Walmart of cars.  FOH with your markups.

I disagree. The 2nd gen looks vastly better to me. No, it isn’t lighter. But other than that the gen 2 car is miles better.

You’d be surprised how many dudes are ready to relive their mid to late aughts monster energy stickered nostalgia. They’ll add two Kicker 10's and a Fosgate amp mounted to the armrest that’s more than willing to brand you with heat sinks. Throw some GTS blackouts on those lamps... /chef’s kiss.

All that’s left is a

Sure, if you’re really into door stops. ;)

What about the TL?! A clean second gen is still a great looking car today, especially in Type S guise.

2nd Gen RX-7 is actually still the right answer, they just used the wrong picture.

Gonna have to strongly disagree with you here. The original FX35 was a low, wide, great handling SUV, with the great G35 VQ sound or the V8. It was a wildly popular car and the design aged very well(imo). There was no Hyundai I can think of before 2018 that came even close. The second generation looked nice but didn’t

How did you find a picture of one that has its clear coat and paint intact?

I have to second this. First gen was an abomination...second was actually pretty handsome.

The Panamera is a good candidate. In the flesh I always found the 1st gen to be really awkward looking, especially in the back. A misshapen, squashed Cayenne, with lumps in all the wrong places.

This is my post but with a paragraph and a picture. It’s hilarious knowing these two cars are/were in the same segment. The Mazda 6 is better looking outside, better place to be inside and trounces the Sonata in every conceivable performance metric. It’s a shame it is being discontinued.

Isn’t everything confrontational for you in that dank fog of hyperbole?

you own a kia... of course you do.

Came for the “herpderp infiniti bad” jalopnik kids, left satisfied.
