Huh... I haven’t met many people in the 21'st century that still don’t get Warhol. Thanks for blowing my mind.

Not sure, but the spoken word stuff is from a passage from Prisons We Choose To Live Inside (1986). You’re right though it kinda does sound like the flying lizards.
^^This dude gets it.
Maybe... just maybe... It was sarcasm.
Not that I can even count on the substandard bar that the AV Club readership/comment corps sets... Id surely kick you all out of my music guild excluding Miz Marquis of course..
The “Bugatti” and the dog mixed together made my day. That whole 2 minutes is gold.
Well at least the excuse for black people not to vote came early.
These MR2s ate their pre-cats like early SE-R Spec-Vs. Not exactly sure how they avoided the same derision. If no mention has been has been made about the removal of said pre-cat at an early age this car is 100% crackpipe. As it stands it’s still 70% crackpipe. If you insist on looking at /attempting to buy this car…
Your post moved me. The pictures people take when selling their cars are often laughably bad.
My dad owned this LP and I used to stare at the artwork as a kid. I Robot is so smooth and so well produced. What a delight to see it here. I’m going to queue up the album because I can’t hear I Robot without hearing I Wouldn’t Want to be Like You afterwards.
I was shocked to find out Fleetwood Mac had released 17 albums. I probably didn’t give the early releases their proper time but it was enough to know that Fleetwood Mac came from a very different place than where they ended up. This is a great song.
I owned the Big Time 12" single (1986) as a kid and it had a version of this song that wasn’t available digitally until a couple of years ago. It has a sparse bass heavy mix and a bigger dose of Youssou N’Dour.
Nibby usually just barfs low rent unrelated metal onto every one of these TRAFFIC JAMS posts. As much as Ministry isn’t metal or necessarily low rent it still has nothing to do with Peter Gabriel, Say Anything or In Your Eyes. If you’re worried about themes... don’t bother.
Confused about the illuminated tires under the front fender wells in those pictures. Are there lights that shine down on the tires from somewhere behind the headlamp assembly?
OMG Ween! You’re the best!
That interior is very un-hyundai still... thank goodness for Audi.
Of course this isn’t THE quintessential funk band (E.g. parliment) but this is certainly as close to funk as it is to disco. If Michael Jackson’s Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough is funk then this is too. As a dude that tags a ridiculous amount of music for my personal collection, the genre tag on this song would read…
It’s April 2020 FFS. Im glad you answered. Go watch the movie already if you’re gonna read about, and comment on said subject.
I assume everyone who has these smokes... and smokes a lot.
