Me: Most people I know realize the Stinger is (not an item for sale, low in price and worth more than its cost... but instead) expensive as shit and should be a better car than it is for that money

When I became old enough to read a clock I was amazed at how short 5 minutes was. My parents always said 5 more minutes when it came to dinner time or travelling somewhere. They were either bad at predicting outcomes or they were flat out lying. So at like 4 years old I had this concept of 5 minutes being an eternity.

The Artgineer: You probably write off the Kia Stinger as a cheap Korean car from the 90s too.

I probably wasn’t going to think this car was sexy anyway but that area around the license plate is fucking horrendous. WTF?

Nobody thinks that... Most people I know realize the Stinger is expensive as shit and should be a better car than it is for that money... despite also being a KIA.

I feel bad kinda... cause I do this on every 11'-8" article. A lot of my posts are just goading people who have a strong opinion about wanting to see motorists hit the bridge. For example:

That is a lot of words to say it’s either impossible to lower this road 12 inches or would bankrupt Durham to do so.

Graded about 100 feet in both directions... which by the appearances of this intersection wouldn’t be hard. If you knew what municipalities spend “millions” of dollars on, you wouldn’t feel so frugal.

hyperactive” is also a slur

Did the park make a public swimming pool that has a water level 3 feet below the edge so that some people can’t get out? With a sign that says “ARMS TOO SHORT”.... and then point multiple cameras at it?

I mean I get it... watching someone die on 11'-8" is what we’re all here for....

In my scenario you get both. You get your dead person and everyone else will get a safe, universally accommodating, lowered road. Cool, right?

Bet skinhead dude thinks twice before publicly being a skinhead again.

In their defense... vegan milkshakes do look and taste like quick dry cement.

The people who say skis are just as loud as snowboards are deluded.

I’ve been to Alta and it was really nice not having to fucking avoid wetbutts every 100 feet. (that’s snowboarders because they’re always fucking sitting down).

What’s up with the subtle swerve towards the Altima in the other lane as it went to pass? Was she just wobbly on the bike or is that a dick move?

Yes, people here have suspended their disbelief because they’d rather see TRUCKSMASH like toddlers. It’ll take a death and when it happens, the road will be lowered.

“That would be prohibitively expensive because a sewer main runs just a few feet below the road bed.”

Or you lived in a city with modern regulations and you had zero opportunities to peel said roof of truck. It’s probably that.
