People toss around the phrase “my aesthetic” so casually these days, but man this so is.

I gotta be honest though Bix, it’s getting to be too much. A couple of years ago in Dallas I wound up skipping a NWA show I already had tickets for because as much as I wanted to, I just couldn’t do it all. If you’re young and on an insane coffee bender maybe you can make it to more than I did, but I just barely…
That video was EPIC.
For once I say who cares? That pictures was both charming and beautiful. I want more Ghost in the Shell artwork! :)
Good point. I already have a PSP and hadn’t even considered that option.
It’s smol, but so is the Rainbow Dash avatar, and both are awesome.
Best news I’ve heard today. :)
They have Gitaroo Man at my local HPB but I’m not willing to fork out $60 for them to pull it out of the glass case. :(
It’s first on every list to me. Also - huge nod to the Steven Crewniverse for how often they insert Nintendo knockoffs into episodes. I’ve regularly seen N64s and GameCubes in Steven’s house.
I’m happy this got ported. I even ordered the import special edition for a few extras that don’t come with it in the U.S. At some point though I’d love to see the Wii U stop being the redheaded stepchild everyone bashes. Maybe it had a bad name, bad marketing, bad timing, but everything that people praise the Switch…
At least one game I bought on Christmas Eve was more than 50% off. It was either Lichtspeer, Golf Story or Oxenfree.
It happens to @JonJones on Twitter every time the UFC fighter Jon “Bones” Jones opens his mouth.
Please. I want that and Chloe Kim Snowboarding.
If this goes 75% off on Nintendo’s eShop I’ll plunk down, but the issues you describe make it too steep to pay full price. I love the premise though. It’s the Memento of RPG.
Excellent timing Jason. I just saw a Jim Sterling video about “games as service” where he argues that the $60 price point for AAA games is rubbish since publishers have already admitted they make all their money on “service” any more anyway.
I once made the mistake of asking for “the most Chicago drink” at a bar my friend Keith worked at in Chicago. He gave me a beer, a house made port wine, and a shot of Jeppson’s Malort. I’ll say this about Jeppson’s Malort... it’s unforgettable. Now I know what turpentine tastes like.
Ah! I had completely forgotten that it was a fan translation and not a homebrew game. I apologize for my error! :)
People seem to forget Beggar Prince when Genesis homebrew games are brought up. I snagged that one years and years ago.
Fun platformer games
confound your expectations.
Embrace the weirdness.
I’ve been using it the very way the title of this article subscribers. I alternate between that and The End Is Nigh, or sometimes just Satie’s Gymnopedie No. 1 on a loop (used in the hidden areas of TEIN).
