TBH the only reason I care about Penny Arcade any more is their Expo. Gamercat is consistently funnier and more relevant.

My admittedly rather simplistic take since I don’t do tournaments -- if you need a glitched conroller to be good, then maybe you’re not that good.

And a happy accident it was (and still is).

Based on my own market research (just walking around all the retailers in town) 90% of those million copies of 1-2 are still on store shelves. When the price point comes down to $25 or less, I’ll be interested.

See I like everything about this other than the slime. The blue and gold looks elegant and classy, but the slime just makes the whole thing silly. (Not a slight against Dragon Quest games, just this console’s skin.)

I tried to get the Master Edition but missed the sale window everywhere but Best Buy, but when I tried to get it on Best Buy the site was completely carpet bombed and I could never check out. I managed to get it into cart a couple of times but ultimately gave up. If they sold that stupid sword separately I’d buy it

But when there is something to talk about, we’ll be talking about scalpers on Craigslist and eBay.

Kinda. I bought the collector’s edition and a copy of the game for Wii U.

Actually I know the woman in question, she opened all eight and put them on her desk, and then my wife went to the same McDonalds she did and was able to buy the five I didn’t have so... no scalping here just happy Nintendo fans (for once).

So far they will only sell me 1-3 but somebody I know snowed a franchise into selling all 8 of them at once and took the photos to prove it. :P

I sank $120 into Mighty No. 9 and not only was the game delayed multiple times and not that good when it finally came out, the majority of my backer rewards went unfulfilled. My faith in Kickstarter was affected to the point I now won’t put more than $40-$50 into a game, and they better have a damn good pitch like

Who/when/where are deluxe pre-orders gonna be?

Yup. I can already see Nintendo circling the wagons for a legal notice that surrounds this on all sides.

My honest take is “Guy I’ve never heard of and don’t care about outs himself as a racist and goes down in flames. Oh well.” Insert shrug emoji. Maybe some small part of me would like to see Adande (Swooz1e) hit him with a frying pan but that reference probably just dates me as to how long it has been since I actually

Yup. That’s all this is. Meant to go viral and get on Kotaku, and it did.

Anybody who can ask if there are more than 30 games for N64 hasn’t tried to collect them all. I’ve still got about 70 to go and some of them are going to be harder to find than a Shiny Pokemon (thanks Blockbuster).

Liking your reply just for the handle. “Let’s, get, dangerous.”

I get X3 would be a better value because it’s so GD rare and expensive that it would be a treat for most people, but X is a vastly superior game in level design, soundtrack, and overall FUN.

Nobody mentioned the most important one - don’t use a laptop on the airplane when they offer you beverages in flight. I made this mistake once... and only once. It was a very expensive mistake.

I think the moment it dawned on me that memes had gone from things we traded on bulletin boards, newsgroups and e-mails to truly “viral” was the proliferation of “Sonic Sez” videos.
