Now I’m wondering if there’s any way they could do a Cheers reunion without it seeming too depressing for the characters. A 70+ year-old Rhea Pearlman sassily waiting tables sounds like a sobering 30 minutes of tv. But maybe I just lack imagination.
Watched the entire run of Cheers a while back. Although it was often hilarious, and the actors were perfectly cast, I was surprised at how dated it was.
