How was any part of that trade done in “bad faith”?

He knows his youngest two kids don’t have a shot at the NBA so he’s trying to monetize them overseas with the shitty name he’s built for himself instead.

I think he felt as though he had this image to uphold while he was in OKC because he was the face of the franchise. Now that he’s sold out and he’s playing second fiddle, his true self has emerged.

If Burfict hadn’t been knocked into next year, he would have jumped up and started throwing haymakers and all hell would have broken loose.

It was really funny to me how this hit and subsequent taunting didn’t cause a sideline clearing brawl. I think that’s a testament to how the Bengals players know that Burfict had

That’s exactly how it is, and there’s no problem with that. The NFL isn’t a charity, nor is it a political platform.

Why is that an issue? You do understand that the NFL is a for-profit entity that exists to make money, correct? They aren’t a political platform.

You act like it’s wrong for the NFL to offer “hush money”. The NFL is not a political platform. It is a business that exists to make money. The NFL recognizes that continued protests on it’s fields every Sunday is not good for business.

They have offered “hush money” in the form of dollar bills going towards player

And on top of that, they don’t owe anyone anything. They don’t “owe” the players a platform.

The NFL understands that this is a very delicate subject that isn’t just going to go away, and so they have actively tried to “work” with the players. Whether this “work” is sufficient enough is just a matter of opinion.

The NFL doesn’t exist to be a political platform. The NFL exists to provide entertainment and in turn, make money.

The non-presidential shitstorm that trump has participated in is causing much less damage than the presidential shitstorm that HRC would have participated in. Trump is a moron, but I’m glad he’s in office instead of HRC. He’s still a moron, though, and a laughable one at that.

It comes down to the risk that the franchises take in signing him, plain and simple. That’s it.

He might be a passable NFL QB, but he’s not elite. He’s not great. He’s passable. And for several NFL teams out there, he might give them a marginally better player under center. But only MARGINALLY better. These teams know

I’m sitting here reading about what may or may not be a piece of the upcoming Ford Ranger grill.

Status? iPhones are too ubiquitous to be a status symbol anymore.

I guess unless you live in a tiny, one stoplight town or something.

Yea, I’ve just found it tough not to, since it’s a game mechanic that they literally put in your face (right next to the odyssey). I’ll try forcing myself not to use him!

I see your point, but since I’ve played over the last several days, the fact that after I get to a certain point in a kingdom (beating a boss or getting a certain number of moons or whatever), hint Toad pops up and I go to him, I go to point on map, go back to him, rinse repeat.... It makes it feel like a grind to me.

“Necessary” and “for the public good”. Who’s supposed to decide what’s necessary and to what extent something is for the good of the public?

Is it “necessary”, for example, for the top tier estate tax rate to be 40% ?

Beyond the widely held, political tag line “huge oil companies getting massive tax breaks”, the general public really is largely clueless when it comes to the oil and gas industry and how it really works.

Smaller, independent producers drill the vast majority of wells (~90%) and produce over 50% of all production every year. It’s a fact, you can look it up.

Do you think that it’s easy being a small, independent oil producer? I can tell you from experience, it is not.
