The way the flesh monster was composed it felt like the most direct FMA reference the show could get away with without anyone feeling like they missed a joke. It DEFINITELY was though.

The statement that Ray’s niceness made Zari want to punch him is a perfect example why she’s fit in so well with the cast.

I already liked Zari, and then the show messed with me a bit by having her be such a pill at the beginning of this episode, but I am so happy with how the overall arc of it had Zari realizing that the team was her family & she loved being friends with them. I was sad it wasn’t a legitimate time loop, but at least we saw Gideon again.
