I could name off a number of airport rental lots where that has occurred but will deny it was me!

Me too! Especially when I got upgraded to Executive status which gets me Camaros, Challengers, Chargers, and Mustangs!
You have no idea how happy it makes me when someone gets that reference.
Hopefully it will tell you if someone steals your battery too!
The answer is always Miata! I heard you say that! Kudos to you!
Great piece of writing! One of the best I have ever read here on Jalopnik!
You mean ramps on the back of cars is not an option when purchasing a car in Cali?
This reminds me of something my Father used to do. He was a travelling salesman back in the ‘70's and ‘80's. Whenever he was more than 25 miles away from home and doing over 75 MPH, he would take his seatbelt off because he didn’t need it since statistically the majority of accidents happen within 25 miles of home and…
I hate that too! It’s rude.
I can buy a whole lot of fun for a lot cheaper price than an HD. I like how some of their bikes look but I am thinking for the money, I could find something better and still have enough left over to buy top of the line riding gear.
I am a boring mid-life crisis middle aged white guy but the brand is not so synonymous with us in Gen X. For me, it’s the price tag that is killing them. They have very expensive bikes and nothing really at entry level since they dropped Buell.
Approves of this post.
Nice read! My former step-dad had an ‘86 and my Mother an ‘87 so I have always had a soft spot for the square box sports car. They were fun to drive. They were pretty quick by ‘80's standards back then. I troll Craig’s List looking for one from time to time but then remember I want a Miata.
For some reason, I ended up on this thread and going back over it. What I remember from the movie was the fact they had to hit the jump in third gear at 85 MPH to clear the wall. Don’t know why I still remember that.
I don’t think Chrysler understood what the word “small” meant. Although, I guess it is small compared to the boats coming out of Detroit in the ‘70's.
I had a problem with my sunroof too. I got rear ended in it and the sunroof would get off track to where I had to manually shut it. I decided to never open it again. Worked out. I managed to get $500 for a trade in. I could have sold it for more but I couldn’t do that to a fellow human being with all of the trouble it…
I was the same way with my last one which was a 2001 SL2. I had to put oil in it all the time. I changed the oil filter occasionally. I got rid of it in 2013 after getting fed up with the electric door locks kept popping open. I parked it at my office with the keys in it for six months but nobody would steal it.
Continue because it really gets better. I felt the same way about it but I loved it. I liked the ending of the series better than the book’s ending.
Best news I have heard all day! Now if Dark Matters would hurry up and film season 3 that would be great.
I just jumped onto my Prime Account and found it as free. Not sure why you are not seeing it that way but I wanted to let you know it’s been confirmed as FOC. Good luck!
