My understanding of the way to figure out how much beer you needed in college was quite simple and based on something I read about the rule used by the military. It is as follows:

I don’t know why but this show does fascinate me. I think it has more to do with being in high school in the mid ‘80’s. The music is good but I seem to remember some of the songs coming out later but maybe it’s more of my being in my late forties now.

The thing that got me about this episode is Gordon telling his NEW boss that he knows what he is doing. Who does that? Maybe it’s just me but he is one of the worst detectives ever. You don’t tell a suspect that is your boss what you know.

I think the real reason the Citroen was not a big seller was due to Burt Reynolds disdain for the car as evidence in this poor 1970’s clip of him taking the car out for a test drive after borrowing it from a young lady:

Just don’t tell Danny Glover about having diplomatic immunity or this could happen:

Will it do 185?

It was the kids.

I saw this movie right after I turned 12 in 1980 on HBO late one night. I was blown away by the opening chase scene. I owned it on VHS, Beta, and DVD along with a bootleg of the Australian version. I do like the dialogue of the Australian version but honestly, and you haters can hate me for this, I prefer the

I rented one of these about a month ago. Nice vehicle. I liked the blind spot detector and the rearview camera. It was easy to drive and felt snug. The rental had a satellite radio on a trial basis that I could not figure out how to change it off a hip-hop station which is my only grip about it. I would seriously

This is a better gag real:

RIP Mr. Jones! I loved Love Bug. My first car was a Beetle and just as temperamental as Herbie. I had a ZZ Top keychain for it because you know it was the ‘80’s after all. Only car I have ever regretted selling. Here is a picture of it in the spring of 1987 when I was a senior in high school. Man I still miss that car!

I had forgotten about this video and how much fun it was! Anything that uses Mad Max cars is awesome!

Whenever I hear this come on the radio, I still say "How much time we got" and will answer to myself "25 minutes." I will do the drum solo if I am by myself since Mrs. Wright doesn't like it when I do it in traffic. She was not a fan of Miami Vice like I was.

When I was introduced to Marty Robbins by my older friend at work, Nelson, he happened to have Frankie Laine’s greatest hits. I loved it too. I think my favorite of his tunes was “Bowie Knife.” First time I heard that I thought it was an awesome song and felt ashamed I had never heard it before. “Theme from Gunfight

Excellent choice! When this song came out, my brother and I went to the local record store and bought on cassette. We went in my Mom's 1984 Corvette. I peeled out from a red light with the tires smoking when the song opened. VOA was a great album. I listened to the cassette so much I wore it out. I finally found it on

I had never seen the video for that song. Nice!

Came for this. Now I am leaving.

I just finished Kenobi and thought it was an awesome book! One of the better Star Wars novels.

I love this song. I was talking with a co-worker of mine at my old job. He was an older gentleman and we somehow started talking about Frankie Lane and the theme from "Rawhide". This lead to talking about Marty Robbins. He told me this was his favorite song by Marty Robbins. I had never heard it. He loaned me his

The Z8 is the only car that I have ever seen in person where my jaw literally dropped. It has some beautiful curves that take me back to the “The World is Not Enough and Mr. Bond quips “I thought Christmas only came once a year.”
