I feel that you are overthinking this. Some people take their feelings to extreme levels, such as the woman in this article, and those people should be ignored. On the other hand, respecting the feelings of others is generally a good thing and costs you and the anti-pc crowd absolutely nothing.

You are correct, and a lot depends on the artist as well. I wouldn't put the demand for the TV version of Hannibal up there with Jurassic Park and Marvel properties, though, so I hope those that really want them can get them at a decent price.

Not really. Their LPs don't usually sell out instantly, and even if they did most Mondo stuff can be had for barely over original cost if you wait a couple of weeks.
