I agree with most of what you say, but the comments that come across as bitching are not the same ones that offer good reasons for disagreement. Saying “I give this review a D” doesn’t say, “I respect your opinion, but disagree and here is why.” It says, “any point of view that doesn’t validate mine should be

I can be as dweeby as I want to be. But I won't be so dweeby that I go around bitching about AV Club grades.

Is there a club of you guys that can't handle that someone isn't validating your love for the show, so you all bitch about the grade and up-vote each other? Do you bring snacks to your meetings?

He gave 5 of the episodes an A-, so what the hell are you even whining about? Edit: It was actually 2 A- and 4 B+. Of the 10 he reviewed, only 2 were graded below a B (1 B- and 1 C+). These are still good grades, but figured I should edit for accuracy.

All of that is fine, but if you choose to read the reviews here, then you need to accept what the reviewer chooses to focus on. The discussion about race and sex in comic books/movies/tv is extremely relevant, and it’s something that many people think about while reading/watching. A lot of comments here want to knock

First of all there are, like, three different guys reviewing the Daredevil episodes. Second, it’s a big internet out there. If the AV Club reviews are tackling a (perfectly valid) conversation that you or anyone else doesn’t want to engage in, then you can hop over to any number of sites that recap and review these

A giant squirrel costume? That may be the furry toolbox.

Racism is solved everybody! Let's erase all references to it from the AV Club, then get some cake!

Then read someone else's review?

It isn't for you?

Soundtrack was great. CGI Jeff Bridges less so.

I'm so happy I have you as my best friend, and I love Lisa so much.

That son of a bitch told me that I would get it within three months. I save them bundles. They're crazy. I don't think I will ever get it. They betray me. They didn't keep their promise. They tricked me, and I don't care anymore.

You don't understand anything, man. Leave your stupid comments in your pocket.

Count what? The number of goofy rants against someone on the same side of the political spectrum that you've posted today? Good luck with your internet anger. Maybe one day it will translate into progress.

Seriously? What a pathetic response. Grow up.

Wow. You are ranting at someone who has worked on multiple election campaigns for candidates, unions, and get out the vote efforts. I don't need a lecture from some random dude in the comments section of a comic book TV show. Denial? I know what is going on in my state and how serious it is. I am specifically

You think I’m being serious? Ok, I’ll cut the sarcasm. Yes, there are places in Wisconsin that are not just tolerant, but accepting of others. Like many non-costal states, we have larger progressive-minded cities surrounded by smaller, rural areas that tend to not be as open minded (which doesn’t mean outwardly

Ok? I'm not sure what that has to do with how we treat gay people in restaurants. (Horribly, by the way. You do NOT want to be gay in a WI restaurant.)

Yes, because if there is one thing we are known for in Wisconsin, it’s judging gay people in restaurants.
