I disagree. The game is very natural and intuitive. It doesn’t have to be easy per se but it’s easy to find something interesting to do as you learn how different system interact. Non hardcore gamers don’t need everything to be easy after all original Mario Bros is not easy and non gamers usually love those games

Seriously??? The beginning hours of discovery were my absolute favorite and also my wife who has never played through a real AAA game powered through non stop enthralled.

My wife has never played a Zelda game. She absolutely loves BoTW but she already knew that she likes some videogames

Completely agree with you Kirk. This quest was the only time that I wasn’t having fun with this game. I ended up completing it by running ahead of the sprout and waiting a few minutes for him to finish the trail. Hopefully Nintendo has learned that quests like this suck.

Incidentally, this encourages companies to make their games with longevity and quality in mind. After all, if they make a masterpiece then they should have every right to be paid for it. This is why Disney has so much money.

Probably just a case of balance and discretion is required. Set limits like 1 hour per day of videogames. Make sure to provide stimulating opportunities so they can round out their abilities.

You should get him Dark Souls. That game teach life’s most important lesson. No matter how hard you try you will always fail but if you should fail enough then you will succeed. A perfect lesson for children of all ages!

Dude Zelda is for older kids not 3 to 6 year olds. There is lots of puzzles and some reading involved in most Zelda games.
