The nand memory is much faster the HDD. Placing save files there is great for saving and loading times. Place all other apps on SD memory. No problem

If someone steals $400 worth of electronics from me then I’m gonna be alot more upset about that than my save file.

I’m sure there will be 3rd party controllers as well for the switch. This is an apples to oranges comment

Gotta whine about something

Last Black Friday 200gb for $50. But even so expect prices to continue to fall this year.

100mb/s random read on an SD card should still significantly faster than 5400rpm typical hdd. Also the nand system and save files should be read much much quicker than a hdd

Hardcore anything should not be a compliment with regards to consoles.

Probably just a prototype. Companies make all sorts of things like this.

Dude I want to use my phone. voice on Xbox is butt

I have Witcher 3 in UWQHD and while it does look great, it’s not the graphics it’s the story that makes it great. With great games the switch will do just fine.

This is obviously what they are doing but 3ds is selling really well because of Pokemon and they don’t want the current fanbase to feel disenfranchised.

They are focusing on games and local multiplayer experiences. Focusing on TV is how Xbox lost the console war

Can you cancel yours so I can preorder one? I really like the feature set

No it’s code for we are not gonna talk out of our butts

Yay more arbitrary rulemakers come to bash an innovative console.

I think for 99.9% of ppl they have given plenty of information. But the tech critic I am hungers unreasonably for more

Shhhh I want to overreact and jump to conclusions

They want ppl to see that their focus is on games, portability, and 3rd party investment. I don’t think any early adopters of this thing are gonna buy it and then be like “dang I really wanted to spend $300 to watch netflix instead of the other 10 devices that I watch Netflix on.”

So buy it in the summer and stop whining. Nintendo isn’t putting a gun to your head for goodness sake.
