I think for "official" releases it stops at 7.2 but if you check XDA you may find 9 and maybe even 10. My HTC Sensation, which I think is an older device has an unofficial CM10.

Does anyone own a Nook HD or HD+ and installed CM10 on it? Does it run as well as, say a Nexus 7 running stock? How easy is it to root it? Does it have any merits without rooting and installing roms?
All of these awful shows seem to be on cable. Thankfully I don't have cable.
I think it might be worth it to try to get CM9 or 10 if they're available for your device. I haven't used Android in a while but I imagine that ICS is becoming a de facto minimum requirement for newer apps. (Sorry if my comment didn't answer any of your questions.)
I agree it's a great idea. I have tons of junk laying around just waiting to be made use of.
So my brother recently gifted me his old Android phone, a Motorola Defy, which I rooted and installed Cyanogenmod 9 on. I would make it my everyday phone because I like it's size, but it can't run Instagram (it's 800MHz processor with 512 MB of RAM). So, I was thinking, what other cool things can I do with it (other…
Can I use Plex to tap into my iTunes library without it messing up my iTunes library? I use iTunes mostly for my iPod, AppleTV and Windows Phone, and I'd like to keep all my album artwork, metadata and play counts for my music and movies intact. I'd like to use Plex as a nice way to organize the non-iTunes content…
When I hear other people say things like "arse" or "bloody" on the street I think they're posers. I admit that I do it accidentally sometimes, and I feel like a poser. Ultimately it's up to you though!
My wife bought a used iPhone 4 after her 4S was stolen late last year. It runs every app she uses smoothly and the battery still lasts all day. She uses her phone a lot more than she does her PC, so it's not like she doesn't use it and gets good battery life. I'd say she does 95% of her web browsing on her phone.…
Aww maaan!
I feel so lame for asking this but: How do you make friends? Especially with people of the same sex? Growing up I always felt my best friendships were with girls/women. Unfortunately this occasionally led to awkward situations where my feelings/intentions were misunderstood or I misunderstood their feelings and things…
I haven't done it without PS3 Media Server lately, so it may have changed, but as far as I know it's the only way to stream from Mac to PS3.
I may have asked this before but don't recall getting a reply. Is there a free software like Carbon Copy Cloner for Windows 7? I'm planning on upgrading my wife's laptop hard drive from a paltry 160GB to 1TB. My wife's laptop has a backup partition of some sort (that's been useful in the past) that came from the…
+1
I'm considering doing that for either Skydrive or Dropbox, but I also love me some free storage.
Recently Box had an offer for new signups getting 50 GB for free. So now I have free accounts with Box (50 GB), Dropbox (8.5 GB) and SkyDrive (25 GB, technically I have 3 accounts with 25GB and one with 7GB but I use one more than the others) and I'm trying to think of an efficient way to use all of these. How do you…
I don't have experience with the newest one, HTC Sync Manager, but I used the older version HTC Sync to sync my Outlook calendar and contacts successfully. [It was only a pain for me in that it was Windows only and I use Mac OS X as my main OS.] I imagine this newer one might even be better because you can use it to…
My HTC is too old for it, but you could try HTC Sync Manager, says it syncs/transfers music and movies (as well as contacts and calendars) from your PC to your HTC One phone. Since it's an official HTC software, I'd give that a shot.
Any Opera (on OS X) users out there? I delete a webpage from my history but it comes up in the address bar even if I delete from history. Any idea how I can keep it from showing up?
Does anyone have any experience with T-Mobile's Premium Handset Protection? I've noticed that it's on my family plan bill (I'm on one under my uncle's name) and we can't not have it for some reason, so I figured I'd try to make use of it. I alternate between two smartphones that I did not purchase through T-Mobile…
