I've never noticed too much slowness on iTunes running from my Cube (G4 500 mHz). I'm curious though if turning off Genius would allow me to play videos without the occasional skip at the 15 second mark that otherwise play perfectly on Quicktime.

@Overloaded: I would ask you to think about the early and mid 1990's back when Apple was just another tech company. The tech scene (with the exception of the birth of the internet as we know it) was pretty stagnant.
@kentadams: Whitenoise is the open thread. I think you mean the phantomzone.
@dragonislander: It can use mp3's by default. Not sure what you're getting at. I don't think there's ever been any iPod that couldn't play mp3s. Perhaps go into your problem a bit more in depth.
Just to save people the time, all comments consist of one or more of the following:
@XerxesQados: That shit turned out awfully.
Mad props if they called him up asking "Mr. Morricone are you willing to prostitute your art?"
@w1llk - Undoubtedly Cookies: Exactly.
I love that guy's voice. I don't know why.
What exactly is the point of these? You can argue that these could be used for browsing the web, media consumption and small tasks that don't require a keyboard or a faster processor. Going by price these things are seriously undercut by both netbooks and the iPad and Android tablets that are coming out, which you'd…
@cbstryker: Yeah no. The top of the line iPads and Galaxy Tabs of the world max out at under $1,000. These start at about $1,000.
@darkly: I'm a big fan of Ars, they go really in depth when they need to. However their articles are usually longer than Giz articles which discourages the amount of reading you'd get like on Giz, and the comment sections aren't very active.
I'm late as usual but I felt this needed to be added to the "Haters Gonna Hate" comments.
@ShaunTKennedy: LOL.
@MyCityScreams: I was thinking the same thing. That would make it interesting. I don't want to take it and realize that the answers are reasonable an un-weird. Like I'm hoping the Chinese driving test is like the bizarro version of an American one.
@Shen Ye: Is it supposed to look green-screened?

It's sad but I really could use this tutorial for some pictures I took with my circa 2005 point-and-shoot camera.
@Fillup J. Fry: Beat me to it.
@Stem_Sell: Hipster guy made no mention of its obscurity. I doubt his hipsterness.
