Wow... a lot of negative feedback. Honestly I appreciate the list. From the top 5 I call that a good place to start when someone needs to recover a file. If the first one doesn't get the job done, try the next. ;)
@achali: Agreed - looks like lifehacker was a little desperate for Windows 7 content. ;)
I'm a robocopy script geek however one thing it lacks is the FTP destination. Might have to give this a try.
@Junno: The general consumer (ala 98% of the people out there) yes, I agree. They will be tracked by someone so why not Google... And honestly, the services are free so why shouldn't Google monetize the service. They give you free email, long distance and a convenient life and in return they track and monetize YOU.
@TheFu: And you know the saying. Nothing is Free...
Like I said on my blog....
Very nice. Reminds me of a VM set to "Undo" mode or disks. Power it off, your back where you started.
Dealhacker is a nice addition to the site. Checking out the Mozart!
Um, that ICON could really use some work. :)
@antiism:
Perhaps just 1 more attempt to "stick-it-to" Adobe and their PDF format?
Looking forward to the reads

Windows Server 2008 (on the desktop) FTW ;)
@superunlikely: Agreed. #1 I would have left #1 off the list or possibly just write something up about how making an extra principle payment annually can save you 8 years of payments on a 30 year loan (I think that's the figure...?).
Not a bad list however probably a little late for most people with just 2 days left in the year. That being said, the good news for an IRA is you can still contribute towards your 2008 limits all the way to April 2009.
Been using VMWare fusion since the last release. But hey, I'll never kick FREE out of bed :)
Not very interested. I can already see the spam bots creating accounts and voting up sites for ranking and comments....
Completed the update this morning. So far, I like the update. Browsing is faster and I like how they included the Google search on the URL line as well.
