Absolutely maxed out on payload on my 2017 F-350 SRW when the water tanks are full on my 5th wheel. Pretty excited about the GVWR increase for this model. Really the game isnt the dually’s, but the SRW’s which a lot of use for both work and play. and RVs are absolutely killer to tow - we use that 425HP on the 6.7L

People like this don’t drive 3/4 or 1ton trucks, they drive 1500's. You don’t drive a HD unless you need it.

I mean - I get it - you guys all live in the city and like to drive small cars.

I don't either. Maybe the occasional pizza - but fast food? Never have

I would just mowed my lawn. And not realize there was an electrical cord there, because why would there be one?

Isn’t that vehicle 2wd? I’d be interested in how much you can do (more then most would expect due to gearing, I imagine....)

Precisely!

6'1" 300lbs here. Yeah, no small cars for me either.....

My F-350 XLT stickered for $62k. What’s this about luxury? At least it has heated cloth seats I guess.....

Unless you need a pickup. In which case your screwed either way, because THEY ALL got more expensive, heh.

I think the Frontier is an excellent choice. Big motor, still available with a 6M, and ready to party for 2/3 the cost of a Tacoma...

Look a 4.x or ~300 CU inch engine is usually considered the “small” V8. The 350/351/358 is typically considered the “big” V8. There is of course the big block 7L+ which I would also consider a “big”V8.

Yes! :)

I think your right on with those numbers. Less HP then the Diesel - for sure. and around 500ftlbs.

FE is largely irrelevant for many of us - its “can it tow it, and can I get there in a reasonable time” For example we tow at 75mph, surely not the most efficient, but I really don’t care...towing at 55 or 65 is so frustrating. and with these new trucks....I have the power.

Basically none - especially since the 6MT RAM was relegated to the weaksauce LO Cummins anyway. We buy these trucks to pull - the extra HP and Torque the Automatic engine provided were way more useful then the feeling of a (pretty miserable) manual transmission.

Optional on SRW (Single rear wheel) vehicles, but mandatory on DRW (Dual Rear Wheel) trucks. Being that the F-250 and F-350 SRW wheel trucks share cabs (and everything really) with the DRW you can order them if you want.

Perfect Storm. Nobody can afford a new car anymore, and there are less used cars then normal.
