Ever notice how furniture stores always go out of business and are replaced by furniture stores selling the same stuff? A furniture store owner explained this to me once and I forget all the details, but it is basically just a repeated abuse of the incorporation and bankruptcy laws.  It isn’t even billionaires doing

not to mention crossplay. Sony was staunchly against it

I eagerly await being absolutely disgusted by the Vince McMahon projects that are surely in the works. Another horrendous shitstain that defers to be exposed as much as possible.

If you’re not interested in PC gaming, then Xbox is more appealing. Honestly, if you’re a PC gamer, there’s not much reason to buy a PS5 either now that Sony is porting its exclusives to PC. For example, I own both a PS5 and PC but I’d rather wait 2-3 years for Sony’s first-party games to be ported to PC simply

MS absolutely did fumble the ball. They charged an extra $100 so they could include the Kinect which nobody wanted. They declared that both digital and physical games would have DRM that required online connections, limited resale and would prevent games from launching if you were offline for more than a day. They

Basically we already have consoles with a ton of features and improvements that were once “kinda cool and nice to have”, but later became almost universal requirements.

Take you pick of multiplayer on consoles, streaming service applications, digital distribution, or backwards compatibility (and a ton I am forgetting,

At least they pulled it off better than Microsoft. I keep my Xbox 360 hooked up because most of the games I prefer to replay weren’t backwards compatible with Xbox One.

I fully believe your fear is gonna come true. It just feels like all the winds are pointing in that direction.

Sega: "First time?"

When you lose control of the narrative so that your competitor can swoop in and get the upper hand over something that doesn’t matter that is what fumbling the ball is.

This looks like the website that companies give employees to select their end-of-the-year or anniversary “bonus” gift from.

I also own both and I completely disagree. I have had PS consoles in past generations, so maybe it’s familiarity to a large extent, but I vastly prefer everything about the PS5 over the SeriesX. I hate that the home screen is constantly advertising to me (mostly trying to sell me game pass) and I feel like the

As someone who also owns both, theres nothing to me that indicates the ‘Xbox Experience’ is better. Maybe I’m missing something?

But also Xbox fumbled the ball a decade ago so people bought the PS4, and they get to keep all those games on PS5, so we’re kinda locked in.

MS pulling a Sega and leaving the console hardware business up to only Sony and Nintendo would be absolutely terrible for everyone, regardless of which side of the console war you are on.

I'd buy from the shady mattress store before My Store.

Champions of physical games typically highlight the ability to trade or sell unwanted games, which platform owners artificially block when it comes to digital purchases.

It does when you need to use individual page clicks to quantify “engagement” to the people that write the checks.

I just want proper physical releases.

Starfield was supposed to sell XBoxes. It didn’t. Might as well admit defeat and get whatever cash is out there from the PS5 crowd.

most of that 120 gb is the 4k textures. on series S it's only around 30 gb. still hefty for seitch but not impossible especially if they use compression which is an option on switch.
