Side note...when you set the cards up you can tell the system to treat the memory as either staying with the system it’s in at all times, or prep it to move between hardware. Keep that in mind if you have trouble moving between them as you may have to reformat it possibly.

No, there’s an armorer on set whose responsibility this is. Actors should be able to trust the people whose job it is to keep them safe. 

I’m not sure it’s reasonable to require any actor to be an expert on the mechanics behind whatever “stunt” (i.e. controlled, not real) is being performed. This could extend to underwater action, explosives, cars, aircraft, et al.
