Yeah, AFAIK there’s never been an explicit explanation of why some ghouls turn feral and others don’t. We’ve seen several examples of ghouls in the same environment with mixed feral/non-feral in the games; the two that spring to mind are the ones on the Chinese sub in FO4 and in Vault 79 in Fallout 76.

Absolutely. One of the selling points of streaming is convenience, but if you set up a Plex server that part’s covered, too. Sure, the initial setup takes effort and you have to rip every new disc you get, but those - especially the second one - are relatively minor.

Yep, and they can also fall victim to licensing issues. Try playing a physical copy of “Lollipop Chainsaw” on a Series X.

Yeah. Being released between “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” and “Captain Fantastic” certainly didn’t do “Caribou” any favors. It has two banger singles, sure, but the rest is just not up to the standard set by those two bookends.

It was a great phone! I got one to replace my HTC EVO and it felt so fancy.

That’s even why Claudia Wells played Marty’s girlfriend in Back to the Future and not Melora Hardin. Hardin is 6" shorter than Eric Stoltz but an inch or two taller than Michael J. Fox, so they opted to recast when Fox replaced Stoltz.

And the problem (well, a problem) is that the ads will never go away.

The complaint I have about Walmart’s checkouts - not just self-checkouts - is that they don’t support Apple Pay (or presumably similar services like Google Pay or Samsung Pay).

People at the time were wondering just how much more dank those balls could be. And the answer was none. None more dank.

And on top of wanting to use it, there’s also the assessment you make when deciding (in a vacuum) whether self-checkout or a regular one is more appropriate for your order.

That’s what I always figured. I don’t know enough about the technology to tell the difference, but each company’s reputation suggests that Costco cares a lot more about ensuring that their cashiers are trained properly given that they’re very employee-focused.

If the US had adopted £sd currency rather than decimalized we’d still be using it.

Ah, at Wegmans you have to go to a regular self-checkout, which is annoying if it’s super busy. It’d be great if they had dedicated checkouts for that!

We’re in the same boat in terms of keeping both memberships. The Costco membership more than pays for itself so that one’s a no-brainer, and with Sam’s Cash that one only ends up costing $40-50 a year which is well worth it.

I don’t know if it’s universal, but at our Costco you have to put items on the platform next to the register after scanning them and like you said it’s definitely a pain in the butt for bigger items and impossible for some. If you go to a regular register, though, they’ll often have you leave some or all of your items

That sounds like the system Wegmans uses, except you use their app rather than a hand scanner.

Hey, hey, hey, I liked Electra Woman and Dyna Girl.

It depends on the state. The couple I knew live in North Carolina, and there’s no common law marriage there. I don’t know where Rhys and Russell have their permanent residence, but if it’s California there’s no common law marriage there either (unless they were already common-law married elsewhere).

They may even be actually married; they’ve referred to each other as husband and wife publicly, though that doesn’t necessarily mean anything.

That’s my feeling as well, though I do worry about the Zaslavification of television spreading further than WBD.
