Centering it around a new character wasn’t necessarily a misstep, but centering it around a new character who was ultra-bland, I feel, was.

This reminds me that I need to hunker down and actually get PS Remote Play and Xbox Cloud Streaming working on my Steam Deck. I didn’t try the former and failed spectacularly and hilariously at the latter.
Well, this is convenient. I was just thinking “how can streaming services be bundled in a way similar to cable, but somehow even worse?”
Sure, I can see that. But it reminds me a little of the scene in Dave where he’s pretending to be the president and trying to free up a bunch of money for a homeless initiative (IIRC) and targets an ad campaign to increase confidence in a previous domestic automobile purchase; not only is it only relevant to the…
It’s interesting. I’m definitely not arguing the point and I’m sure it’s because I’m out of touch but when I think of branding elements I think of stuff that’s outwardly visible, like, say, the iPhone’s specific camera lens constellation or the logo on the back of the phone for people who don’t use cases.
I don’t think they care, really. As I mentioned in another comment, they’re studio lap dogs and always have been. They were probably happy with the deal because their lords and masters deigned to give it to them.
I was genuinely concerned that DGA rolling over like the studio lap dogs they are would hurt WGA and SAG-AFTRA in their negotiations. And that probably did have a negative impact at first, considering how hilariously terrible AMPTP’s initial proposals were and how long they continued to think they could force a…
I just wanted to see if anybody wanted to go the restaurant with the goofy shit on the walls and the mozzarella sticks!
I’m calling shenanigans.
Considering parting ways with my base model M1 Air, but it’s just been so reliable.
Yeah. I liked the first movie more than most people seemed to, but escalating the threat the way they did just felt... eh. It’s similar to one of the biggest problems I have with Star Trek: Discovery - every threat has to be some giant universe-ending thing, though in that case it’s largely in service to their vain…
I’m exactly the same way!
Blade reboot villain Roman Moronie confirmed!
It’s underrated in the first Blade movie, but I really loved Deacon’s contentious relationship with the council, and his place in the vampire social hierarchy. I could honestly have watched a whole thing on just that stuff. Old blood vs new generation, and they’re all bad guys. It’s good lore.
Yeah, that’s the thing, I’m rarely on my phone unless I’m out and about, and if I’m out and about I’m not on my PS5, so something that works better with desktop is ideal for my situation. Xbox offers both mobile app and direct cloud integration, which is cool.
Or you use an external drive and copy it there, which is what I do because that’s somehow less of a pain in the ass (probably because I’m mostly a desktop user so having to use a phone makes it a chore). It’s not a big deal, other than being couple of extra steps (physically moving the drive and copying the files to…
Whatever, as long as the WB-style doe-eyed WB-style teen angst between the Doctor and their companion doesn’t make a comeback I’ll be happy.
I ended up replacing my fat PS3 with a super-slim and that was a very disappointing downgrade. I figure this one is probably more or less on-par with the PS3 Slim or PS4 Slim rather than the ultra-cheapie super-slim.
This is just pure corporate greed.
