No. There will still be disc and no-disc versions. They’re saying that the larger models will no longer be available. I don’t know why they felt the need to point that out given that it’s how it’s always worked with slim models.

If they do it’ll doubtless be hilariously overpriced like their storage expansions.

Yeah, I’m struggling to figure out how Microsoft has been “innovative” with hardware this generation.

The PNY XLR8 CS3140 2TB is $114.99 at Amazon and it’s also a great solution for the PS5. I have one in both of my PS5s and they’ve been rock solid.

That’s a really good drive, especially at that price.

Yep. I loved it, too; I had no idea he was going to be in it so it was a Leo-pointing-at-the-TV moment for me.

Here’s the thing though - to providers, whether it’s within the confines of an existing model (cable/satellite) or a new one (streaming) any change is simply a fresh opportunity to extract more money from consumers.

I’d be much more interested in a Morgan Bateson spin-off.

We switched from DirecTV to DirecTV Stream because the former had gotten prohibitively expensive. We got the notice and our monthly bill would go up by $9/mo. It’s just not worth it.

How do they even measure that? Do crew quarters sensors sense when hook-ups are happening?

Yeah, my interest in The Mandalorian fell off a cliff after S1 and I couldn’t quite put my finger on why, but the way you described things would certainly help explain why. I’d seen all the films except Solo when they were released in the theater and consider myself a fan of the franchise, though certainly not a

I’d rather forget about Generations than Insurrection.

Here’s the difference and why I think STV is worse. I feel that STV had a reasonably solid concept behind it, it was just executed incredibly poorly because of budget issues and a director who, let’s be honest, was the weakest of any who directed a TOS film by a pretty wide margin.

MAGA does stand for “make attorneys get attorneys” after all.

People felt sorry for her because she seemed to be shunted aside, but she unsurprisingly turned out to be as big a piece of garbage as everyone else in that family.

It reminds me a bit of Doctor Who at the end of the classic series’ run. Although things were, IMO, looking up a bit at the very end, it well and truly needed a rest. And sure enough, when it did come back, it came back like a house afire. There is absolutely no way that Doctor Who in 2005 would have been in the same

I think I agree. It’s worse than STV, and that’s saying something. The only Trek film that gives me pause is Into Darkness.

Right, like if I complained about Hershey’s but kept scarfing down Reese’s Cups or fake Kit-Kats.

Huh. I wonder what it is about the BMW wireless charger that’s causing this to happen. Lots of newer vehicles have wireless charging pads, including mine, and AFAIK this hasn’t been an issue with any others.
