So here’s my issue with the FPS, some of that shitty framerate (specifically on the Pokemon) is because they’re switching their animation blending calculations to every other frame or lower, instead of every frame. You can tell thats the case, because the pokemon is animating at a different rate than the camera moves.

Yeah it looks cool and I love the idea of open world Pokemon.

And I gotta agree, that video looks real bad. Gamefreak has always been bad at 3D rendering and optimization, and this trailer makes me nervous that it’s gonna be the case again here.

I mean, that’s a possibility, sure, but a bit of a stretch as a scenario, as it requires you to file early in 2020 and later in 2021.
The only check guaranteed to be based off of your 2019 income was the $600 check.

I mean, I’m not refuting any of that, I fall into that category you mention of “middle class caught up in the aggressive phaseouts”. I was just answering his “does everyone get a check” question.
Thanks for the correction on the phase out range though, I didn’t know what it was this go around, and didn’t care to look.

On top of pandemic mucking up things, I’d also add that it’s all these new tech toys using the same type of chip. PS5, the Xbox series, and all of AMD’s new GPUs and CPUs are all using the same 7nm chip manufacturing from TSCM. Previous consoles have tended to use the previous generation of chip, but that’s not the

Not everyone. Anyone who makes less than $75k a year gets a check, but that’s the income limit.

While the Sonic GBA port had awful music, I think you’ll find the Sonic game with the worst music is Sonic Chronicles on the DS:

To keep it mostly vague, yeah it’s CryEngine based, but even their internal engine devs didn’t know what was going on with it as they hadn’t worked on CryEngine, they were just handed CryEngine/Lumberyard and told to be the engine devs.
This was on top of the designers and developers who were using the engine not

Man, Lumberyard was just awful, truly atrocious.
I’m not gonna blame it for my previous problems with alcohol, but it definitely expedited the process.

There are a lot, but it really depends what you personally are looking for. All of ‘em are pretty cheap, but some give dividends, others pay those dividends back into new shares, etc.
It’s an hour or two of research, but it will pay off in the long run, and there’s nothing stopping you from splitting it across more

100% this. Gambling holds no interest for me at all, but just tossing my money in an S&P 500 index fund and letting it do it’s thing has worked out great.

It being a modern Mario game, I’m betting it’s a locked 60. I think most first party games you don’t have to worry too much about, but especially Mario games.

It doesn’t look as graphically intense as Odyssey, and that bent over backwards to lock it’s framerate to 60fps, doing some really smart things to achieve it.

This is a damn shame. THPS 1+2 was essentially a perfect remake (outside of the missing songs and singles tours at launch) and personally, helped me a lot through this pandemic.

I had really hoped they’d be the ones helming the franchise moving forward. What a waste.

I almost went for the same bike! But I ended up going with an elliptical (a Sole E35). I really like it, but you’re 100% right on most of your points.

It’s pretty expensive, and heavy as hell, and was a workout in itself to move into place and put together. I don’t plan on moving it anytime soon. It’s very much a bad

I dunno Zack, there used to be Dire Wolves, giant wolves that actually existed but they fudged the numbers on “when” for the game, makes more sense than like a Pegasus or Unicorn.

The one that always got me when I was younger was the Diglett bonus stage in Pokemon Pinball on the Game Boy Color.

Digletts just popping down when hit, leaving holes, I couldn’t look at the top of half of the screen.

So much of Silver/Gold broke my damn brain as a child. Day/night? Days of the week? Sexes and breeding?
All the things magazine previews said they were adding sounded too good to be true, but it was all in the game. The second region and 16 badges was just a second tier on an already delicious cake.

I’m in a really similar boat to you, and agree with you 100% here.
I finished X and Y, but that was pretty much it for me, I don’t think I made it to the second “Gym” in Sun and Moon, and didn’t even try to pick up SwSh after that.

HG/SS are the best though. Tweak the exp gain curve so it’s not so much of a slog, and

Yeah, the comma is weirdly placed and keeps making my mind try to read it as
“That event is here finally, and it’s pretty disappointing”

Yeah, we just switched to encouraging video use for our once a week, 30 min team meeting. It’s not required (especially if your work at home setup isn’t conducive to it), but I do think it’s a good idea.
After 7 months of not seeing any of my co-workers, it was great to see them again.
