The University of Michigan, for sure. ;-)

When I graduated undergrad in 2000 I almost bought one of these but in red.  But as a poor college student starting grad school in the Fall I wisely did not.

Mine was a 1987 Plymouth Colt (2dr hatch, auto trans). I got it in 1994 and had it until the summer of 1999, when it decided to throw a rod out the bottom of the engine while doing ~70 mph on US-23 north of Ann Arbor, MI. Luckily, I had power steering and long enough to slow and stop on the shoulder. I had to jump the

Isn’t there more than $800 worth of second parts all over this vehicle?  The bumpers, headlights, grill and hood should worth $1,000 collectively as parts.

Info on any ‘shitbox deals’ is welcome regardless of geography.

Harmon and company did this mixing the best with Community. And Schur...especially with The Good Place. Lawrence was generally good at it, but he could devolve into schmaltz to easily/quickly.

Or not. If I was they person you describe, I would just buy a nice running example for less than the literal and time cost of restoring this one.

Agreed. Small wagon for the win!

I mostly liked my 1999 Escort wagon with a 4 sp manual, but really loved my 1992 Subaru Loyale wagon with a 4 sp manual and push button 4WD.

That definitely warrants an ‘O’ face reaction.

I’m a straight, married male and I’d watch this.  Could be good or weak, depends on whether we just saw all the good jokes in the trailer already.

Absolutely. Until June 2021, we had two Town & Countrys (2008 & 2016). I love this old platform and have been eyeing (lightly) used 2019/2020 former fleet GCs recently and thinking that’s a good way to replace our 2016 or my 2015 civic when we need to pass the Civic to our boys to use.

I can certainly take a joke at my societal cohort’s expense (as I’m sure straight white middle-aged males will be just fine). I’m just annoyed by the terribly lazy and hackneyed ‘joke’ and execution.

Well....that’s a bit too much on the nose.

This is the real joke/satire that should have been written instead of the tired old ‘useless dad/husband/boyfriend’ trope...I say as a 44 year old husband/dad married for 20 years with 3 teenage boys.

Not surprised. Cage can be and has been good when provided the right material. Sounds like this movie was ‘the right material’.

Now playing

That one’s great, but the ‘I speak no English’ sketch is my single favorite:

Yeah....Time.

Agreed. I’m an enthusiast, but also a pragmatic bread winner for the household and a ‘cheaper’ new car that does the job is an ideal situation as I’m in the ‘car is appliance’ part of my life right now.

Oh.
