Does sitting in a garage for 99.9% of the time really provide that much info?
Does sitting in a garage for 99.9% of the time really provide that much info?
Indeed.
“Hey Kevin? Yeah it’s Christian...doing great buddy, how about yourself? Oh that’s good, hey while I have you on the phone why is your car at Pagani?”
I can’t generate much sympathy for someone who buys a P100D but wants to save a few Gs on repairs. The plight of the wealthy. I would recommend a Corolla, or possibly a Malibu Maxx.
Another trick: An old co-worker plus wife were renting a car to drive to a bigger airport 150 miles away. They get there to pick up the car and they’re REALLY pushing for them to get a SUV or mini-van for X amount of money. Tells them no-no-no, don’t need the extra space for 2.5 hour drive. Finally gets down to it…
America is built upon disgusting levels of legal incompetence.
Considering that he did not bring charges against the police officers who murdered Earl Murray and Ronald Beasley under similar circumstances in 2001, I think it is definitively more than just incompetence. But this incompetence should qualify for recourse.
The recourse will be another $250,000 in donations from Wilson supporters thrilled to know that Wilson did, in fact, openly refer to black people as niggers.
I would have lost my shit and started chucking my university physics text books the moment that brake question came up. Well not really, those things were expensive. PLANES OF REFERENCE MOTHER FUCKER, DO YOU SPEAK IT!
If by dated, you mean not filled with arbitrary creases and lines. VW has gradually improved the Golf line over 40 years. Improving only things that need improved. Not change purely for change sake, which I appreciate.
Just a small point before I start, but the R does have defeatable traction and stability. Just hold down the off button for a few seconds and all the nannies turn off and stay off.
The rs and the type r are for eternal boy racers who just got a mid-level promotion. The golf r is for a responsible, safe, boring adult. The sti is somewhere in between at this point.
I don’t have kids, but having a two-door anything for normal use is a pain. Back seats can be useful for throwing things into. Doors make them easy to access. :)
It feels more like an Audi than a VW. The interior is a lot more premium than in a conventional Golf. And the performance is very impressive.
I have owned both cars.
“Dated” interior? Have you sat in one for even five seconds? It has THE best interior in the segment — period.
I’m no longer a kid, and comfort and nice appointments mean more to me now. I’d be inclined to spend the extra for something like this or an Audi S3 over the Ford (which I like very much) or the Scooby (which I also like a lot), especially because any car for me will be a daily driver. I’ll be honest, the VAG vehicles…
2-door GTI owner here.
Wish I would have gotten the 4-door. These truly are great do-everything fun cars (specially after a tune), but the “practicality” goes out of the window when you pick up family from the airport and have to see them do weird yoga poses to get in the back. If you have two cars, then you can find a…
Excellent as normal Clavey. You know I had a rebuttal coming though! haha
Jason, can you not put a spoiler in the copy that appears on the front page please? “when he mysteriously left your party in Chapter 6"
