The “trend” I spoke of was just literally this white little mermaid hashtag. Like literally just the hashtag. I meant that the hashtag wasn’t actually popular and the bots are their to make it seem like it is. As a trend, as far as the word “trend” goes in the context of Twitter, it’s manufactured.

Is the original gameplay not included as a seperate mode? I’d pay for a new visuals/special powers added version of Dr Mario that plays more like the old one. The preset puzzle modes arent my cup of tea usually in stuff like this.

A lot of those twitter accounts are fake or hacked. Look into them. Look how long their accounts have been around and what they post.  I think this is a fake trend, started by an even tinier group than it appears.
