A new 356 would only be a good thing if it was just as awesome, dangerous and underpowered as the original.
The 944 was a fantastic car, that has a fantastic chassis and a questionable exterior.
I am a little disappointed in how long it took me to figure out just HOW ironic this was.
Saab 99 Turbo, black, needs paint and tires. Interior good, some bad stitching on driver's side bolster.
My boss has a black 968 convertible. He very rarely drives it, but when it's there it's very striking. In drop-top form I think the cleaned up rear end looks much better than the 944.
I would totally just use a Saab Viggen dressed down as a regular old mid 90s 900.
@Mr.choppers - Delenda Carthago Est: Um, um, 356??
Flawless win, this pack has the appropriate amount of swedes.
@Elhigh: What sort of numbers does he get?
@A strolling player got drunk and: Turbo Bricks. FTMFW.
My vote:
@Vanderhuge: Seconded!
@Engineerman: I agree, let the Jalopnik crew choose the cars.
In fact, I think the final list should look something like this:
Please, save the 356 Carrera 2.
@gearhead_318: I am curious about this as well.
It makes me sad that the 356 Carrera 2 wasn't saved, though the 550A has a fair chance. Maybe Turn 10 will save the 356 in the near future, it could be a real winner in the vintage race sets.
