I mean, I like both this and Filoni’s work so...shrug?
I mean, Jenna also describes Qarl and Laenor as faking his death on their own, when it was clear that all four parties were in on it since we see Daemon killing the guy they used as the burnt body and Rhaenyra explicitly says that everyone will think they were behind the murder and she’s okay with people fearing what…
yeah, if you cast Kaley Cuoco and you still have a boring film, then my god is must be a boring film.
lol was all that rambling really to come to some reverse racism conclusion.
People here claiming that ‘historical movies have always been inaccurate’ are missing the point. It’s not the presence of inaccuracies, its what those inaccuracies mean and why they exist in this particular movie.
I don’t know, 1776 goes out of its way to discuss the various sordid compromises required to bring the slave states on board with independence, and even addresses Northern hypocrisy in denouncing the slave trade with one hand while profiting massively from it with the other. It’s far from perfect—Thomas Jefferson in…
In total fairness, sure, Saving Private Ryan invents a US army platoon and a rescue mission. But it doesn’t, I dunno, try to make it seem like the Germans were heroically fighting to save France from the evil invading British and Americans.
Hawkeye is central to the show of course, and is a great character, but Charles is my favorite. Even though the character is funny, I find it difficult to watch the Frank episodes because he is so one note rotten and kind of pathetic. Watching everyone beat on him all the time gets tiresome.

Man, that’s just a dumb stereotype, I have no idea what you’re oh shit work started five minutes ago got to power on my work computer.
“Back in the prison, surprise! Wong is late. I guess you think of time differently when you have the ability to instantly teleport to any location in the world at the swirl of a hand.”
Well he was in Death to Smoochy so....maybe?
The names Goodman, Lieber and Kurtzburg in the firm's name refer to Martin Goodman (founder of Marvel Comics), Stan Lee (Stanley Lieber) and The King (Jack Kirby, born Jacob Kurtzburg).
He was so good as himself in the Leftovers!
I’m not a fan of this series so all of the white hair looks very silly to me - like everyone is at a theme party in very obvious wigs.
Working alongside Marlon Brando probably came in handy when she did this the following year.
The design team is too large to make anything but camels
Only thing I can see is the corner vents are a bit large, which pushes the front silhouette out at the bottom instead of tucking it in, which would be better.
“Riddle me this, Batman...Who has two thumbs and your car?”
