I was hoping for a horiffic car crash as well, maybe with Avery bleeding out as he tried to call Scarlett and apologize.

I think it would be fun to see Rachel and Raylan get together, but I doubt it would set either of on anything close to "the right path".
I don't worry about it too much. The Carrie Bradshaw we saw on SATC was a pretty terrible person. It makes me feel better to think this nice, sweet Carrie will make better choices and therefore grow up to be a better version of herself.
It's the Earth-2 Carrie Bradshaw
Yeah, but Carroll is not just some yoyo who read a Poe anthology and a few Wikipedia pages and decided to kill people based on that. He's actually a lit professor who teaches classes on this stuff. You'd think he'd have a more interesting and knowledgeable take on this stuff.
I'd certainly like to see weekly reviews of this. Actual SF shows, as opposed to magical fantasy or monster hunting, are actually pretty rare.
Eh, I never had much use for those guys, to tell the truth. The ratio of actual funny stuff to bad, cringey weirdness that went nowhere is just too high.
Back in the late 80's when I was doing stand-up, one of my fellow comics used to do a whole bit about that incident with the bear eating the cocaine.
I stopped watching halfway though the Thanksgiving episode. UAN used to be a sweet, little gem, not always bringing enough funny, but with a lot of heart.

I think they really ripped the heart out of this show when they ditched the workplace stuff and had Reagan stay home. I liked Chris staying home by himself, learning to be a SAHD and dealing with what that that means to him and the family and the Ava! show was usually good for a few wacky hijinks.

One of my former co-workers used to build scale model steam trains large enough to ride on.

I can't take the character seriously at all. He's pretty much a walking, talking, cartoon gangster.
