Trek wouldn't do what? Make two characters have an unnatural conversation so that the writer can drop a huge, premature exposition turd on the viewers? Oh, I'm pretty sure Trek would do that, my friend.

Yeah, the hair always stays like that, but the character gets much better.

Most of the dialogue in B5 is pretty bad, but the nifty, speechifying bits almost make up for it.

It was just too early in the show to bring in a quasi-mystical element like the Soul Hunters. If you had saved that until later in the season, it might have gotten a better reaction.

I think B5 would have been a much better show if the bigwigs at  PTEN hadn't forced JMS to dump O'Hare for the more bankable Boxleitner in S2.

See you next season. Heh.

What I really need to do is build an anti-pony-inator.

There's a trope in modern fantasy where mundanes minds can't process supernatural events and therefore make up all sorts of excuses/justifications for the fantastic things that they've seen with their own eyes. Monroe mentioned something like this some time back when Nick asked if he could let Juliette in on his

Or both!

Mel Brooks said that tragedy is when I cut my finger. Comedy is when you fall into a manhole and die.

It would make zero sense because, while Raj has never had a serious girlfriend, we've had numerous examples of him being interested in women, hitting on women, fantasizing about women and even having sex with women. On the other hand, apart from his occasional homoerotic banter with Howard, he's never shown any real

Hilter was the guy running in that North Minehead by-election.

Raj isn't "coming out"

The show has really changed from "four geeky dudes hang out with their hot neighbor chick" to "Three geek men and their three ladies have adventures". Sadly, Raj gets left out of the latter scenario unless they find him a girlfriend too.

Yeah..you kinda need to ignore that if you want to enjoy the show.

I'm pretty sure that Californication has hair and makeup people on staff, not to mention a wardrobe staff and other people who could give Becca a nice makeover. A radical change in her appearance would at least give the character a little more juice.
