Maybe I’m crazy but I feel like the TTRS already fills that role in the lineup and is the closest we’re going to get to a new Quattro. Crazy turbo I5? Check. 2 doors? Check. Useless rear seats? Check. Fastback/hatchback? Check.

David Tracy today:

I dont think most people really expect an extra 100hp. Maybe 20-30 more horespower and definitely some extra torque. Heck Honda squeezed 240 horses out of a 4 cyl years ago and its been pretty bulletproof in the s2000.

They give out a 8 year unlimited mile warranty, which petrol engine comes with that? And still we don’t really care about replacing them either, at least not until we have to.

Analytical techniques do not show how the car will perform in the real world, under real conditions in terms of quality and build. Every major automaker spends 1-2 years road testing their cars and I’m sure they have analytical tools too. Not putting Model 3 through actual road tests is ridiculous for such a high

Company with quality problems decides to skip testing phase of new product.

“skipping the usual beta prototype phase.” Good, shouldn’t cause any issues.

*Ford offers GT350 with either Track Pack(which includes the trans/diff coolers) or Tech Pack*

The problem is in a lot of cases, it’s visual and subjective. When is a cracked tie-rod boot catastrophic? How about a worn ball joint? Are you measuring play or just looking for slop? In manitoba we have about 10 pages of examples of windshield cracks and chips for what is allowed/not allowed. About the only thing

I’m not into more regressive taxes on the poor, so no thanks.

I guess power is all about perspective, because my ‘10 Forester 2.5X isn’t slow at all. It feels like a race car compared to the Hyundai Veloster rental car I had in LA, which was horrifically awful in every way, but especially power. I have hooned it in the snow, something this article says is impossible.

I know someone will probably do it already by the time I post this but here goes anyway...

The market has always driven automakers to offer economy cars with high fuel economy. From the very beginning.

The front doesn’t look too bad. It’s that God-awful rear that destroys this thing.

‘16 is ~$15,000, AWD @ 300hp is tempting for a sleeper, but are there any parts to push that up to 400+hp? I doubt it.

To be honest, the 200 is the first Chrysler I’ve eve seen that made me think “hmmm, not bad!”.

Spiked hair and throwback raybans plus a fucking ridiculous duckface. This, America, is our future.

All Volvos are generic cars tho tbqpfhf
